Decided to go the SCT body route. mounted the body, pretty high, but it has cleareance, and only needed light trimming in the rear.

    used:
Pro-Line promounting system, I used 4 of the long posts.
DHK Hunter 4x4 body - removed most of the decals and light trimming to rear fender well

next is figuring out how to install my hobbywing sc8 with a 4s battery.

not pretty but she got the boost I was looking for. was an easy install.... only required 3 pieces of tape to cover the hole.

    using a hobbywing sc8 + 2700kv Kershaw designs motor + venom 4s 5000mah lipo

need to find a place to stick the big ole 4s battery, yes... I put them in a small box and zip tied it to the chassis inbetween the front body mounts.... at the end of my test run, the box got ripped to shreds.

Couldn't you just have gotten two two cells? And where do the batteries go in the first place? Lol

the batteries normally go into the flip down trays on either side of the chassis.

spc/smc both were out of stock when I was battery shopping lol.

I had these esc/motor/battery combo in my drag slash, but since that is out of commission atm, I installed it into this truck. and also my stampede has the identical system in it. was actually running both of them today lol.

    this combo is pretty sweet.

eventually I will get some 2s packs, waiting for good deals now

body video on the brushed setup. didn't think to record the 4s setup.

brand new body, is all scratched up, from doing some hill climbs and small jumps... weight in the front didn't help at all lol

    Looking good.

Are you going to put the wing mount 5411 and a wing or leave it as is.

    Jezza,

Thinking about picking up the proline ridgeline bumper set. its for a summit, but I heard, summit rear bumper was a direct bolt on. (edit: no wing or wheelie bar, slipper clutch is a full half turn out, so no wheelies, just speed.)

think this will look pretty sweet.

gonna have to do some looking, but the E-revo to brushless Slayer conversion looks pretty sweet.

I think I would just rather try to find a bigger SCT body that will fit over the revos 40 series tires.

    Thanks Jamez19!

So I ordered some more trucks... used ones....

    My E-revo SCT got a mini-me today!

Meet Slash MT/Crawler Mini Slayer/Slash Monster Truck Crawler...lol

    Its an xl2.5 with a titan12t
its a 1/16th slash with a few tires and a skidplate inside to hold the body up high like its big brother.

surprising it is functional with the 2.2/3.0 trenchers on it, but not so much with the stampede tires...but the stampede tires look cool lol. Going to order some 6mm-10mm hub extenders. and some mini pro-line pro mounting posts? than it will be straight.

was out running the e-revo, while my brother in law was running my e-revo I was running my generic buggy, and crashed it into the tire of my car.

up till that point was a funtime.

heres a video, sorry the crash happened off camera, you can hear it,, sounded expensive .. part is 3$ hehehe

bored and had a mini deathwish....

attached my e-revo (1 piece of paracord, tied to each foot rest, running thru a 3 foot black pvc pipe, than attached to the rear body mount) to my wheelchair and took myself around the block.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foWbzSxD5lA

it did good, after a 15 min pull, the temps were at 130 motor/ 95 esc @ 90 degrees ambient. I was sweating like crazy, amazing the truck didn't get hot.

picked up a new body for the e-revo, I been wanting a atv / quad style body for a while. Almost bought several nitro powered trucks that had that body JUST for the body, but today found a little kids "ride on" green quad. no motors or anything, dash is dead I didn't bother checking batteries, just stripped off the underside and wheels and slapped it on my e-revo. will be making some body mounts for it.

I recently got a 3d printer and have been making some crazy cool stuff with it. trying to get a scanner so I don't have to assemble atoms for a month to make a good working part. to scale wise I have 3d printed legos that work with my actual legos with minimal effort. (within 0.05mm)

$4 at the salvation army lol

    Enjoy!

went out today and bashed it. it handled great, did come disconnected in the rear several times. I'm working on a better rear body mount. I didn't want to drill thru the rear body, but I might. If I cant come up with something else to attach it to the underside.

took a mt dew box and cut it up and used it as a debris guard, I put black carbon fiber sticker on it, as well as painted cardboard colored parts black with a sharpie.

this removes the gap between chassis and body.

Video of Todays bashing tests. Since it is a E-Revo the performace is still pretty darn optimal. Body is fairing well.

    Thanks for reading!
