Got a 4x4 brushless and the motor is a bit hot for my liking. What heatsink/fan should I get for use with a 13t pinion?
Thanks in advance.

Probably this one: http://www.castlecreations.com/en/other-accessories-3/cc-blower-for-36mm-motors-011-0014-00

Don't quote me on this, but I'd think it should fit almost any 540/550 can...especially if it's no more than -1mm/+2mm in diameter. The casing is plastic, and should flex a little.

I run the bigger (40mm) version on my e revo.... THERES ONE THING YOU MUST ADDRESS!
Have a fan that blows outward. Because the case is plastic, its literally a heat trap, so if your fan is blowing towards your motor it will barely do you any good. If not harm your temps.
Its hard to find a fan that blows reverse. For some reason the fan it came with was doing so when I got it. My yeahracing fan blows towards the motor and didnt help the temps nearly as much despite having tons more air blow. I cut holes in the shrowd for help. Honestly, its just not a good design.
Another question: if it says input voltage 7.2-8.4 max, is it still able to be used with an 11.1v 3s battery?

Yes. It is getting the power from the receiver rather than full battery voltage.
You will be fine. It gets the power from the receiver, not the esc, and it will only take what voltage it needs, no more.
