Some Fancy E-Revo Pics, Got Board...

I got out my Nikon D80 and shot some pics of my E-Revo:

(All it has is Traxxas Tubes all around except Front Pushrods. Thinking of getting a Traxxas Titan 775, Kershaw 700-HO or Two HPU GT's) It's a very fun truck.)

Which one do you like the best?

Maybe the 1800 Models but the 2008 ones are the stuff.

2 Is awesome 4 would be just as awesome if you could make out less of the stickers on the body. If that makes any sense.

You got some nice shots of your E-Revo, im not that great with taking pictures. Does anyone know when Traxxas will start selling the Titan 775?

work on your exposure a bit or find some better lighting. #3 and #4 have the best overall lighting and decent composition. ;)

you know, I actually want to try out some HDR stuff (since the fad is all the rage, rofl) perhaps I should get a pile of some of the nice fall leaves and park the erevo in it.

That's a good start on photography there, I'm assuming that you just got the D80.

You need much, much better lighting. I'm not saying to go out and buy flashes or anything of that sort, rather just go outside into the sunlight.

Also, experiment some more with angles. Think of the E-Revo as life sized, and take photos from a realistic angle in that sense.

Ditto on the backgrounds, they are distracting, and while plain backgrounds aren't any fun to look at, trees, hills, even buildings are fine; so long as they don't take any attention away from the truck whatsoever. Remember, the E-Revo is your subject, not your lawnmower.

If you find a good setting to take photos from (remember that I'm talking more along the lines of artistic photography, not showing off your truck) try to go for a wider angle.

I'm no pro myself, but I'm slowly learning the basics with my fathers D80, and I hope you find some of that useful.

I like numbers 2 and 5 the best. A ford body to match that nice F-150 in the background would look nice on your E-revo:p

I took them in my garage on purpose. I like that look. I didn't takethese for anything. If I did I would have taken them outside or somewhere with light and a nice background. I'll post some eventully. I also have World Series pix if anyones interested.

#6 is the best. #3 and #1 are a close second.

Where do you live in PA?

Yeah:(, There cheap and get the job done.

I was really dissapointed when they quit carrying em. I bought up the last 6 packs they had at my Radioshack the day I learned they were not going to carry them. I have Frankenstiened them all now, and they are mostly S X S, which I reccomend. Anyway, good luck with Photography and your Revo!
