hey guys so back at my mustang again after a break. but now my steering servo is getting hot. hot enought that i cant hold my finger to it for 2 seconeds after a run on nimh
whats cuaseing this?
i reccently got the tqi reciver and am having problems with it so far as glitching for throttle and steering and not holding its settings
Unplug it... see if the issues go away.
The servo is probably on its way out... and the cause of the weird electrical issues.

if it is the problem this would be my second servo to not wake up. but on the 16th revo/slash forum there is a guy there saying that this lhs's customers are cumplaining of the tqi reciver so its got me woundering
i have no other servo. so im going to ride it out till i get a e mail from traxxas about the tqi reciver. or if the servo does quit i will call traxxas an see if they give me a seconed servo(out of warrenty)

The servo should stay rather cool. Maybe the gears are missing teeth which causes it to try to remain its position without success which heats up the motor.
it sounds like its running fine
no humm throught out the full servo travel
only thing i can think of right now is the jiters could it get it that hot?
