End of the road for me

Well guys, the RC hobby for me will be becoming small this week. Gonna be selling a few of my vehicles to my LHS. Keeping a few like the summit, 5t and crawler but everything else is going. Don't use the other vehicles enough and I want the money to put towards my four-wheeling/flying hobby. So if you haven't noticed already, I haven't been on much. I'll still be here, but not as much. Time to move on to bigger and better things! Plus I need the space in my room for other things. So, if you don't hear from my for a while, you know what I'm doing! Thanks

Nice. I got a friend who wants to teach me to fly even though I am only 15. Saving up for a 4 door Jeep too.

Got a friend who flew when he was 15. He still flys now and he's amazing. He's even did rc planes with 400cc engines and 10 1/2 foot wing spans. They where crazy

I think flying is fun cause the guy took me up and let me cruise around, but when I try to read the books he gave me I just want to fall asleep. I think if I really wanted to get my pilots license I could do it, but the only thing that worries me is the Solo Flight.:((

Flying is so fun. The whole concept of flight amazes me! Been wanted to fly ever since I was 10. Just got into it few years ago and pulled the plug to buy plane this August. Sadly I haven't flown it yet, only my Cessna that I borrow from the flight school. Plus with 100LL fuel that my plane takes at prices around 6 dollars a gallon it's crazy. But it's worth it. Just gotta wait for summer to get really flying! She's all lonely sitting in the hanger

Solo flight is fun, you just have to be confident in yourself! I was a bit afraid at first, but then once I got going, it was so fun. The worst part is the check ride when you go up with an FAA instructor and he tells you what to do. My acted out having a heart attack and had me land at the closest airport. Now that was so stressful!

Wait, the FAA dude had a Heart Attack? Or did he pretend and you had to follow instructions?

Oh. That would be stressful! Don't you have to communicate with the towers on when you can land and stuff like that?

Yeah, that's also the fun part until you get someone you can't understand

You'll be back. Every time I lose interest in R/C, or give it a break for a while, I end up coming back. Usually it's a new technology (LiPos, brushless, etc.), and that sense of nostalgia you get when you think about stuff you used to do...

I can afford it all with my profession now. Just getting bored of some stuff.
