Counterfeit Talon Tires

But I know how Traxxas feels about stealing products....

not sure, but I'd assume so.

They don't claim to be from Traxxas or Talon's, so it's not counterfeit. Since there are many different rc companies making very similar tread patterns to each other, I don't think it's a big deal. Though Traxxas may disagree.

They are 99.9% talon, not similar. Slap talon on the sidewall and they're the same.

There`s a difference between similar and copies.

The Hobby Royalty place doesn't call them TRX connectors either... but Traxxas and them aren't friends.

I would think that the tread pattern is patented or copyrighted.
I'm rather amazed they haven't gone after Maisto r/c. They copied the talons and the canyons on their toys.

Yup very close, At least they went for a little originality, two-tone and 7-spoke vs. 6 on the Geode. Plus no bead lock.

But it seems alot of companies look to Traxxas for ideas.

How about these tires I found on a Wal Mart Rc... :O.o: The rims even look like Slash rims! :fear:

I can't stop laughing at that truck. Everything is held on with rivets, even the wheels.

I think the tires on the walmart truck are the same as the 1st ones posted...
