Just some velcro wire wraps to keep the battery in place.

Just looked it up. The Bluetooth link from Traxxas is 45 dollars, but can be had for less from other vendors.

That would give you the best variability.

It could theoretically be useful later...

The tee time does not come with that.

But call Traxxas support, you might be able to put in a 6 volt pack which would have lower voltage.

Also training mode is fairly slow.

You should be able to recalibrate the transmitter and only push the throttle halfway when you set that position.

If I hadn't just blown a motor being silly I would test it for you :-)

I got ya. I think you're not wrong.

If I just get another stock motor ($10) and a fan with a heatsink, do you think it will keep the motor cool enough?

A performance bump would be nice, but I...

Running my Teton on 2s as a fun little basher and blew the stock motor.

    What should I do next?
Replace it with a stock motor and a fan?

    Go brushless?

    Get a bigger brushed motor?

    I'm...

I've been thinking about this and you could cram a 550 in there.
They are brushed and about $15 ish.
You would need a different ESC and maybe some gears and a slight mod to the chassis.

    But it...

    Does a 2s Lipo need a fan?

The ECS is set up for lipo right?
Do I need anything besides the batteries?

I've seen that Lipo might over heat the motor so some people have put fans on them.
    Is that required?
