Sounds good to me. Happy New Year
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas😊
Just a reminder, this thread is 6 years old.
You can make one out of pvc and a Stagg
musical instrument bag
Have you contact TRAXXAS support, they are pretty good about helping out.
Johnny, I don't know that brand. You could only run one 14.8 volt lipo(4s) hooked up to the speed controller(esc) at one time. If you run them in parallel you can run two.
Soft or hard packs will both work. Make sure you get 50c or better and 5000mah.
I know this is a little late but if you shine a flashlight at the bottom of the transom you can see where to mount the inner trim tabs.
Wait for RegularGuy to respond. He has had pics on this site somewhere of cooling for the ESC.
All that will get you started in the right direction.
Nice job. Looks really cool.
You need to be going about 15 or 20 mph to see water flow.
Hot Racing Dual Pickup Rudder Blade Blue M41
Specs:
Width at Top of Rudder Blade: 1.2" (31mm)
Width at Bottom of Rudder Blade: 1.04" (26.5mm)
Total Rudder Length: 5" (127mm)
Switching all to EC5 connectors would be better. Running an adaptor will create more problems for you.
Go to OSE and look up DCB M41 upgrades. Both of those rudders will fit the Spartan.
If you let off the throttle and give it few seconds it should recover if it's Thermal shutdown.
That prop will work fine with that setup.
Octura x442 prop is close to same as stock
The Seaking 180 is a good choice. It will handle 6s on your Spartan with ease.
EC5 or bigger would be better.
Sounds like the coupler isn't tight.
You will have better results with a new cooling can.
Yes you can.
The Octura X442 is a good prop to run. You will need to sharpen and balance it.
Installed the ceramic bearings and everything went and ran fine.
