My FPV gear is pretty darn fast. I use it to freestyle fly quadcopters in tight spaces going fast.
The limitation will likely be in video transmission as current FPV gear is supposed to be above...
LOL funny thing... I setup a ramp in front of my house this Sunday. While I was charging batteries I gave my XMaxx a once over and my front right inner seal had popped off. I ended up taking it apart...
I keep seeing people talk about this seal coming off.
I took my XMaxx apart to service these bearings and couldn't get the cover off to clean and lube mine.
I guess I'll have to keep trying to get...
I just remove 1 or two 1 inch pieces of the gasket.
That way it will still close right and NOT hold pressure.
Then I put it somewhere non flamable. I likes me some cinder blocks... I guess I never...
My dad gave me a Tamiya Frog when I was about 17.
Darn near burned my 68 Charger to the ground charging batteries w/ a wind timer under the hood.
That was MANY thousands of RC dollars ago. I...
I use a battery checker to "inspect" my batteries. The internal resistance should match between cells and be LOW.
All lipos should be stored like you are about to have a fire. I use ammo cans and...
I purchased a new VXL to make myself a drag car this weekend.
I already have the LCG chassis and some tires...I planned to rip it apart the moment I got it.
Then I took it out of the box...all...
I call it efficiency.
My almost new slash 4x4 has this same kinda movement.... mine goes strait though.
No I never moved forward with BEC as I have LOTS of small lipos.
Still tweakin my first mount to make everything fit.
I follow some guys here in northern CA that run pro line transmissions.
If your as fast as they are and not blowing transmissions its a solid product.
I regularly bend my axles. I run in the street alot and almost every time I clip something hard I bend an axle.
I have gotten very good at replacing them.
ooooohhhhh look how clean that slash is! I like how that fan fits. Are both fans running from the receiver or do you use a BEC?
Vinyl it a great idea... if you can work with it on a transfer sheet that small.
My wife has a cutter that allows her to make darn near anything with it.
Getting little stuff transferd on perfectly...
If you lift all 4 wheels off the ground and lift up your suspension arm, does the wheel turn.
If you lift all 4 tires off the ground and rev it up like you would to go 30+ MPH does it do anything...
Welcome to the board..
I don't believe Traxxas makes an aluminum one. I have seen them from Hot Racing and ST Racing.
I personally want to try the hot racing one.
Yesir! Just have to focus on which RC to work on... too many irons in the fire.
I have a couple prototypes printed up.
I keep screwing up my screw spacing.
I started off w/ Blender... and I ended up w/ TinkerCad ;)
If you get into 3D printing Tinkercad is super easy!
...
Honestly, if your into this hobby lipo storage safety is a thing!
A good ammo can and some cinder blocks make for a fine storage solution.
Puffy is one thing... check the resistance! Higher...
Verify your gear mesh... I have seen several videos of shaft play in the motors that can allow excessive play in the gears.
Wow, I cant believe that didn't blow over.!
That looks like an air strip. Great spot!
I am waiting to see what kind of answers you get.
I just added a HS to my motor because I run a little tall ;)
I not added fans yet but have been looking around to see what options I can find.
Heck Yeah! Welcome back!
I was looking at one of those recently... could not pull the trigger on another nitro.
I hope they keep manufacturing here!
I really hope they bring back their racing tranny ;)
Meh, I was hoping they would come out with something for the street.
