Let us know how they hold up. I've got a body or 3 that would look nice with them. Just wondering if they'll hold up to bashing. Price is cheap though.

I can't get the Amazon link to work, but regardless, it's better to have more torque and rarely need it, then to have barely enough and lack responsiveness. As far as budget servos goes, the best...
They way I see it, water and dust always seem to find thier way in, so its best to make an easy way out. I too vent the tires, and seal the rims. And I run in everything. Kinda like Olds does, after...
Looks nice. As previously mentioned bigger the better for the snow. Wider to stay on top of the snow, and taller for more clearance. But just remember, cold temps and bigger tires means parts break...
I like it. Looks like a woods/trail truck, my style.

Everything RcWilly said is great info, except one little thing. Running 3s will actually lower the amp draw of your system, resulting in less heat in your motor and esc. P=IxE, meaning power(watts)...
I'd say try a spray on chain wax. I use graphite now, it works, but the belray aerosol chain wax I had seemed better, thicker film left behind. I also seem to have better results from graphite powder...
I'd say run the stock size pinion. Being a larger motor, you won't need to gear down for the larger tires. You might even find that you want to gear up a tooth.

El slob you ever noticed the motor wires getting hot on your caslte motors? I have a couple of the 1415s, and the small long motor wires tend to be about 10 degrees warmer then the motor. I swapped...
You could use a 2 pole sensored racing motor, like a 13.5 or even a 10.5, paired with a hobbywing 10bl120. That's under 100. The 2 poles used to be somewhat common in crawlers in the beginning of...
609 would be ideal, incase you or someone else is looking for a solution. 640 will work though.

Man this is coming out to nice. I'd be afraid of tipping over and scratching it. And I love the paint scheme.

Seems like it should auto detect the 5s for the lvc. Did you ever run the 3s battery down to lvc on it? You could buy one of those cheap low voltage alarms that plug into the balance leads for some...
You need the 4s traxxas connector, like on the maxx (I don't know the part number). It'll accept 4s and lower, where as your current one only accepts 3s amd lower. Traxxas does this so a newbie...
6v. Some have tried higher, seems most fried the reciever though, so stick to 6v.

No pics on hand right now, but I use the shoe goo and drywall tape. Did one body with drywall tape and flex seal, in an aerosol can, don't recommend that. It did make a difference, but had air...
Goolrc tg3. Its pretty much doubled in price since i bought it. Got one for 20 bucks, now they are closer to 40. Still not a bad price. Feels cheap but its durable. Did have to grind some of the...
Recently read a thread where someone used a j concepts creep body on their trx4. Nice small light lexan body.

No pics? Good quality parts they make.

I'll second great scott on this one with the trx4. Got my son an axial wraith (a crawler) when he was 3, and one for me, perfect for learning on, and years later still one of our most used rigs. He...
I bought these for 2 of my 2wd rustlers a couple years ago. They were 35 back then, now 45. They have them there for the bandit aswell. Now they don't sell replacement parts, but running these on 2.8...
That's some nice filming/editing there.

Generally I'd recommend selling the brushed combo and buying a castle system (or hobbywing). Much more programming options to play with, and a little more power. But in this case, being able to put...
