If you want to crawl with it, look at URC's Chimera project. It will take a lot of money to crawl with this well.
Man, I wish I knew what Santa was bringing me! I hope he enjoys it!
I've heard that the sw3 doesn't like 3s, so watch temps closely.
Grizzly, the way you take a screenshot is by using ctrl+prnt scrn(should be in upper left of keyboard).
I have the tires, now I just have to get around to taping and glueing them. I got the MX28's. Once again, thanks for all the wonderful help this community has given me!
Has anyone tried to gear down very far, or am I going to have to risk it? I suppose that I could drill the gearbox out if it doesn't fit, but I would prefer not to.
I know how, but thank you for the large amount of information. I'm getting a set of 5 inch plus tall tires, and would like to know what the smallest pinion I can fit is, because they are heavy as...
What is the smallest pinion I can get to mesh with my 90 tooth spur? I'm getting about to glue up my first set of tires :woot: and don't want to burn my Titan up.
Thanks! :D
Try rotating the worn tires to the front, and the less worn ones to the back. I rotate side to side on my 2wd (different tires. Can't rotate side to side on your car.).
There are a set of -5° caster blocks for the N. Rustler. Probably needs modification.
Gear ratio is almost exactly the same, but if you are crazy about efficiency, the 21/50 will have slightly less rotating mass. Other than that there shouldn't be much if any difference. Remember to...
Just about everything. I think you will need a new body and mounts.
Try going without the diff locker and see if that helps, because the super diff is 100 dollars. That is a lot of cheddar.
I believe that it stays at the last setting.
I've heard that you can take the tiny hex wrench that came with the car and cut it to match the size of the shear pin without I'll effects. Also, it's an excuse to get a set of hex drivers.

Welcome to the forum!
Try controlling your left index finger. After that, gear down a little. As a bonus, this helps temps as well.
As mentioned above, give CS a call. Generally, below 160°F is given for max temp.
This is what he said.
WELCOME BACK!
I think the mamba monster x with 2200 or 2650 is generally preferred. I'm a rusty 2wd guy (they came out with a 4wd while you were gone) so I'm not sure.
Edit:I'll let someone else...
1. Is it an XL-5 or a VXL? It helps if you inclusw this in your post.
2. Check slipper clutch.
3. Reply with an answer to question #1.
4. After someone else helps you(I am new to this as well....
It will be easiest to start a new thread, but here is my thread about my new tires. I'll post a review of my tires after some use.

Thank all for your help. All the recommendations I have received are much appreciated, and I will consider all of them at my LHS. The largest deciding factor will be what my LHS has. I will remember...
When I said MX, I meant the tread pattern, not the size. Which of the options you gave me would last the longest? As long as they perform as well or better than the stock tires, durability is my main...
I'm just wondering if you can get different rockers for the 2.0. I know that on the v1 there were several different types, but I haven't heard of it for the new one.
Thanks!
Could you tell us where you are planning to drive? There may be another 2wd model that would suit you better.
