They are both awesome, it depends on where you live and what you do. The Xmaxx is indestructible and the maxx is almost. (LOL) the maxx will need a widemaxx kit steel shafts to make it a lot more...

No, it means 1 channel for the servo (steering) and 1 Chanel for the motor (driving) you can use it on any car unlimited times but you have to bind it.
