Like Jon v said get a stampede 4x4. It will be better than a rustler or pede.
A slash 4x4 will be equally as good. with the right tires, you'll be able to go over pretty much anything.

It sure looks like the mounting pivot hole isn't lined up right. slide it in and put a screw through it

Traxxas has yet to come out with any sort of 5th scale besides the discontinued monster buggy. (I think that was fifth scale, right?)
Even if they just made a brushless one with their blacked out...

We're always telling Traxxas what we (The cash-carrying paying customers) want and it never happens. :(

By far the best rc traxxas makes is the slash 4x4 so I'll go with that

Hey Jacob I had that exact same bike awhile back...(I've moved on to actual motocross bikes now like a crf250r, and I like yz's.)

Programming? if you haven't ever taken them apart and messed with the all you have to do is center them.

Dies and won't restart for a day? That is not right at all. Sounds like you may have a low glow plug ignitor. make sure its fully charged. If it is just flooding out easily every time. Try leaning...
