I have a good friend named Max. Known him for 30 some years. He's scared that he'll be getting sued by Traxxas next. He's just your average working man. Wife, kids, mortgage. All the normal stuff....
Has this topic been discussed yet? Or is it even allowed? Lol
Gentlemen! And I use that term loosely. Lol!
Good to see all you guys posting again! Just logged in for the first time in close to a year. Been crazy hectic lately. Looks like you all can...
Dualsky is the name I was thinking of. Just searched and didn't find it though.
Yep, orion was one. Can't remember the other one I was looking at. Want to say it's sky something. Not skyrc or flysky. Something similar though. Can't find it anymore.
I don't think the future is very bright for these units. There was at least one other company I know of that sells these. Can't remember what brand it was, but remember checking it out about a year...
Yep. One more vehicle that Traxxas was ahead of the game with. A friend of mine has one in mint condition. Not quite as refined as the current stuff, but way cool for it's age.
MIP are the best, hands-down. I have the Integy set too. Had for probably close to 10 years now. They're decent, but not great. The 1/16 driver is slightly oversized. Works good once in awhile if you...
It's not that I have anything against this forum. It's just not what it used to be. When I joined, I joined specifically for the vintage electric forum. There was a ton of activity and a bunch of...
For the bellcrank bushings, use 5x8 bearings instead. Much better and easy to find.
I may have a motor plate and guard. Will check this evening.
Best bet is to post over on the "other" forum. I haven't done much with vintage stuff lately. But if I do, I post on the other forum mostly. This one isn't what it used to be.
Traxxas needs to release a garbage truck next! They are the undisputed champions of recycling!!!!
I've never owned a Traxxas Cat, but it should be a standard servo for the throttle. It's hard to find close-up shots of the throttle servo/MSc. Any chance you can post some pics?
The only thing I...
Just wanted to bring this thread back to the top. Getting ready for some updates. I'm still thinking that a new thread is in order. Give me some time to get a few pics together. My new place is...
Thinking maybe it's time to start a new thread since the one from this thread no longer exists? Then again, it's another backyard track, so it technically fits the title. Any thoughts?
In the...
Still in millville. Matter of fact, I can throw a rock from the new track to the old track. My new house is right around the corner.
Long story short, the guy who owns the place decided he doesn't want the track there anymore. He's got some issues that I won't get into. I'm guessing you never met him, even though you've been to...
Well, got some bad news.:(

Not sure where you're trying to sell this item, but I have noticed that on other forums, where you actually have a feedback rating attached to your profile, it is much easier to sell stuff if you're...
If you do, send me a challenge. Same name as on here.
Bump. Price is OBO.
Trying to help out a local kid with his mini slash. Here's the story. I believe this kid is around 10 years old and he lives next door to my backyard track. He's shown a lot of interest in the hobby...
Mad Skills Motocross 2. Been playing for a couple years now and it never gets old. Two new tracks every week. Battle the rest of the world for fastest times. And you can also do online challenges...
The sand was horrible at my track today. That downpour on Friday really took its toll. Think we got something like 6" in 10-15 minutes. Took a lot of sweeping, followed by a leaf blower to get the...
I have a few videos of some of my vintage stuff. Mostly the trx-1. I'll look them up and post some links. I think the best ones are on my old computer somewhere. One of these days I'll have to find...
