If your looking at buying a different fan then the Yeahs, just grab the heat sink...you want something like this that fully wraps the motor and bolts to itself to hold it snug to the motor.

Thanks Rico for the pics.
Yes a heatsink is required as that is what the fans screw into. Fans are always a good extra precaution to help keep temps low. The lower the temps during your runs, the...
Got a pic of your fan setup Rico? I have gone through endless amounts of Yeah Racing fans...intrested in how you did yours. Thanks!
Here is my thought...if you have ever cartwheeled the truck, without limiting straps it could have pulled the suspension down due to force just far enough to get the dog bone to pop out and then jam....
Was it a rear or front and do you have limiting straps?
Never used them...but appear to replace the drive cups as they have a cup on the end with the threaded pin for the diff. I have never bent a drive shaft on either of my E Revo 2.0 and I have done...
Dude! I really like that Ram body!!!
You could always use Easy Off oven cleaner. Put the push rods on a baking tray, ensure they have no plastic ends on them. Spray with Easy Off and let sit. Do this a couple times and boom! All of the...
Thanks for the replies! I always store my lipos in my home in a fire sack inside vented ammo cans. That way I can keep their temperature ambient and not allow them to just sit through hot and cold...
I have come to a point in my RC collection that I may need to start storing RCs in the garage. I live in southern AZ so we see low temps in the upper 20°s and highs in the high 90°s. Obviously I...
Will be a great investment. All you need is the motor temp sensor and the mount...everything else you need is built in already! Part #s TRA6521 and TRA6535.
The fans are not water proof..safest bet, just pull them off real quick if your going to hose the truck down. I would recommend if your not planning on getting the link module and app along with a...
Stay away from self righting function unless you like rebuilding diffs in your down time...
If you have the ability..both...if not...start with Chassis Brace then do straps.

+1 on the above
I use the RPM monster camber gauge. You can flip it on its side with and with a 2x4 as a square set your alignment too. Been doing it in all my rigs for years!

Call Traxxas......
Lololol! Love it! Too funny! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Yeah just spur and pinion, you are correct. I am unsure how big the Hoons are height wise vs the GRPs. You can start 20/46 and see how it handles and responds. Just watch your ESC and motor temps....
You will have to regear it as you drop tire size. I run 1/5th GRPs on my street truck for street racing. If you run stock gears with smaller tires you will be far slower then stock set up....
I wired my fans together to one plug. Then you just plug them directly into a 2s receiver battery. Just be disciplined in checking your voltage between runs. I usually just recharge the receiver pack...
The fans should spin relatively free with just a tad of resistance...I never run any of my fans off of my receivers. I run all my fan set ups off of a 2s reciever lipo pack, stand alone. On my basher...
I went the cheaper route I can use on a my rigs. A small GPS I can strap on to any vehicle in run. Its the SkyRC GPS. Works great is just about dead on.
Put it on a vise and crank it closed. JUST KIDDING!!!! LOL! Post some pics and we can try to give you some actual ideas.
I wish EMperformance would make us some titanium drive cups! Boom! Issue fixed. They are only $20 a set for stock...so not to worried. Just be nice to not have to flop them...then replace.
