Summit is a brilliant machine. On lipos its my favorite basher. Hands down. Other than that, slash 4x4 is nice after a few mods.

Id stick to a brand with some good feedback. And SPC lipos definetly have good feedback. Best value for lipos in my book.

Not necessarily. You could try going with a lower capacity pack. I believe the spc 5000 mah 2s pack is around the price you desire and is just as quality a pack.

I used them and kept loosing the screw downs. Not sure why, but they are nice if you make sure to check on them once in a while.

Yeah. Im just fine with a speed of 20-25mph because it can do that speed ANYWHERE. And the two speed tranny and locking diffs are just plain cool.

Tower has them for $485 new if you are a member. Or theres one pretty cheap left on the mp.
