That's my summit. I ran the stock tires for awhile and just switched over to the bfg. IMO i could get rid of the canyons fast enough. I wanted the mud slingers but never liked the looks enough to buy...
were the diffs locked?
where did the vid go?
Mine only goes on road when I need to gain a proper amount of speed to hit jumps
My first thought about the yetixl was " I can't wait to put those tires on my summit" haha
Those look awesome
I just did this conversion over the weekend. I am enjoying the slash much more then the rally.
I used slash tires, body, body mounts, bumpers and removed shock limiters
Unfortunately I haven't driven it yet, I think the speed control is faulty.

I ran with my strc layshaft for awhile on 2s, loved it. I now run 3s and broke the pin, also it would strip the AE spur gears quite often.

Snow is the best, its like sand dunes in your front yard. It even cleans the summit as it thaws out. The last storm put down about 20 inches at my house and that was a little deep for the summit tho.
Nothing looks more bad a then to launch the big 1/10 beast in the air, mid air hitting the brake to level it out. IMO the 1/16 is for children that rally them around the house
