wyd10 I know for a fact that the screws were not loose because I check them before each run and I had a hard time removing them when I did take them out to change my slipper to a center diff. At the...
No big jumps this is my race truck it sees the track and bench, our track has one "big" jump but you get less then 2 feet of the ground. The other track I race at is an asphalt oval so no jumps there...
Just wondering if anyone has had issues with their chassis. I have seen the bottom plate spur gear cut out issue that has been posted but I have come across another issue with mine. The rear hinge...
I have done this to both of my trucks, both with a different brand of esc. It does not affect the performance of the fan or the esc.
Here is a pic of what I did, I soldered the fan leads to the esc battery connector so that when I plug in the battery the fan comes on. This also gives the fan a little more voltage then the receiver...
BEC is what powers the receiver which powers the servo.
If you wire directly to the esc battery connector then it get a full 8.4v of the 2s lipo and saves strain on the BEC.
It will run off your 2s just slower then at a full 12 volts. I have used them on both my emaxx and slash and have wired them to a 9volt battery and then directly to the battery connector of the esc...
Bashing yes, even concrete or asphalt yes but dont use them on a slick dusty track. They are somewhat soft but not as soft as M2 proline compound.
Use double sided tape to secure it or build a custome plate to go over the fan or esc heat sink fins and attach with longer screws.
The 2400 on 3s and above. But if you only have 2s batteries then the 3800 is the better one on 2s. I have the 3800 in my race truck and it is very quick on 2s geared 15/54.
The washers should take care of the problem I use them to space my slipper in both my trucks, it keeps the pinion and spur from wearing out.
I have 10000 in my rear diff and it works great for loose conditions.
The diff center, the plastic cup that is screwed to the ring gear. The diff housing is not sealed and will not hold fluid.
It tightens the steering up and has a better more responsive feel. You will not be disappointed even with the stock servo.
What servo are you running and do you have an external BEC or a glitch buster? Could be the servo is not getting enough power or the wiring is shorted out. If you can plug the servo into a different...
blknryzn did you make that capacitor?
Does not matter I have used the Robinson racing brass bearing adapter and the traxxas blue aluminum adapter.
These are my go to tire on race day, we have a very dusty loose track.
No but it stops the back and forth movement that can wear the slipper or pinion out.
Do the screw holes on the rally/slash box match up with the old style receiver box from the original slash 4x4?
I added three.
Yeah I like my SCTE shocks they work great. I need to rebuild them and put the tiNitride shafts in, but just putting them on the truck without that has helped a lot. Much smoother off jumps and...
5x8 bearing
Is there enough material on the xo-1 rear carriers to mill out to accept the larger tekno bearing?
