I have an older radio, but was able to find my manual, and will attempt the setup and calibrations, to see if that helps.

No. No cutout. It seems to be running fine, just not reaching speeds over 26mph.

Also, my concern is that according to Traxxas' advertising, I shouldn't have to upgrade, or modify anything.
