Yeah it does. Very nice!
Thanks, LT-X.
Like I say, I don't like using the word, stupid. It's not a very nice thing to do, but sometimes I see people behaving so badly that I can't help myself. I know none of us are perfect, but I think we...
I think guys like me, you, and some others here should definitely be considered as Professional-Amateurs. (lol)
Good to know, Grizz. Also, I got this free Castle thing a while back, and it lets you use your phone to make your adjustments. I haven't needed to hook it up yet, but I will someday. The first thing...
Yep, I agree. Between this and the natural drop in pricing (after a new product has been on the market for a while) is what I wait for, if I can. If the prices are really good, I'll get something...
Thanks. here's a better picture of the supercharger opened up to let some air in.

It doesn't let a lot of air in on its' own,...
Yep, 5/16 is 7.9mm, and 1/2 is 12.7mm.
I know they do on their newer stuff, but wasn't 100% certain on their older stuff. So, I didn't want to comment on it. Thank you for the confirmation.
Sorry, I couldn't help you more.
I know you're not calling me out, Flux. In my first sentence (in my post you quoted) I chose my words very carefully, and said "I've heard people say." I have never tested any of my ESC's out. Just...
A 1/2" drill bit is pretty big for something like that. It's probably more like an 1/8" bit.
I'm here for you babe. (lol)
I'd call Traxxas on that one.
Take and post a few pictures of it, so we can help you better.
You got that right! It's a very addictive truck.
Hey I got that same body. I got mine Line-x coated, and I have a supercharger that acts like an air scoop.

I have a Castle MM2 in my Emaxx and XO-1, a Castle XLX-X in my Xmaxx, and a Fuse 160 (rebranded Max6) in my Super Baja Ray. They all do a pretty good job, but my thinking is similar to yours. Castle...
My understanding is that the roof skid is an after market deal, and that you would have to put your own holes in your 7711G body. If this is indeed true, it shouldn't be hard to install a roof skid...
I've heard people say that Castle under rates their ESC's and Hobbywing overrates them. They say Castle rates my XLX-X at 160 amps, but its more like 180 amps, and that Hobbywings Max5 is really less...
No it don't. I've been doing it for years, and haven't messed up a plastic rim yet. I will say this, though, that if you have a chrome coating on the wheel you have to be careful. My XO-1 wheels have...
Do you guys know how many amps is that new Castle XLX-2 rated for?
I personally wouldn't use WD40 on my electronic parts. It conductive and leaves a conductive coating. If I clean inside my electronic parts I use an electronic chem wash. On the outside, I use a...
If you did what I did to make my Emaxx reliable at 6s you'd be right around 150 to 200 bucks.
I know, like you say, that there's a chance that they won't go down in price at all, but who knows for sure what the future will bring. The big thig for me is that all my stuff works right now, and I...
It does take more time to tape up tires than to string them, but it's not harder to do. I use Acetone and a close container to soak my wheels in for a day to get them unglued. It takes about 15...
