    If you bought a 40T I bet it isn't for the GT and that is why it does not fit. Traxxas is (again) out of stock on both the 8358 55T(VXL)...

    I believe that the battery hold down is the same as the TRX4's. They both use stock Traxxas part number 8327. GPM makes a rainbow of colors for the TRX4.
