I totally agree with Panther on this one. There are 4 screws that hold the diff cup with spider gears, and the ring gear together into a sealed unit. And that unit which has a bearing on either side,...
Personally, I wouldn't use it in that condition. I would replace it.
Since you mentioned the bag was opened when you purchased them, could they be rear axles? Not sure if there is any difference, but they I see them listed as FR and RR.
And are you using any shims...
I would also give a  to Jenny's. I've purchased many items from there and have always got what I needed, and at a good price.
Translated from Dutch?
I have good experiences...
Those 2 PiP photos did look VERY familiar. :woot:
WOW...this brings back some good times!! I still have almost all of my Hot Wheels from when I was a kid. (will be 62 in April) Mom put them in the attic when I got "too old" for them. Also have tons...
Pro-Line has several good options for carpet tires. Prisms, Wedges, and Pyramids.

Feeble attempt at using more than 1 color, and using chrome. Looks crude up close, but you can imagine what a PITA this was to paint with all the detail, curve's, and tiny crevices. Couple of...
To help troubleshoot, you could set it with NO reverse and see if it still goes forward. If not, then you can swap settings in the ESC.
At least to me, what Panther stated is good info. Not sure...
I also use the Black and Decker, and the MIP bits. Its fast enough for me. I limit my use mainly for disassembly, and use the hand drivers for assembly. Its a nice to have item.
The Ultimate was my first Slash. Then later on, I decided to get another Slash as a project car, so I got a Platinum, and added a 3rd party TX\RX. I guess I was lucky to get one when I did if they...
Most High Voltage servos (Savox as an example) usually run around 7.4v to 8.4v for max torque and speed. Just because a BEC can put out 9.6v, doesn't mean its a good idea to run that much "unless"...
I second the RPM bracket. Have one on both rigs...

Good luck with that. (joking)
I checked one of mine (hard to measure still on the truck), but it appears to be "about" 87mm-88mm from center holes.
Traxxas part number is: 5539, but they only state the rod length as 58mm. Once...
For me, Nitro powered vehicles will always be my first love! And I agree...the smell, the sound, the smoke, the tuning, and the mess are what I enjoy about it most. Electric has its place too, and I...
I got one set of the Road Rage 3.8's in, but its been a week and the other set hasn't shipped yet. Hopefully they will be on the way soon. They are about the same height as the Crime Fighter MT's...
Would love to try the inner fenders, but can't get past the price tag. I'm sure they work well though.
Jato is a fun truck to drive. My son's friend has one, and he brings it over every now and then.
About decided on Road Rages for my build. Guess I will go with the 3.8's, and want to get some...
Late to the party on this one, but I'm curious as well. Heck of a build project.
Wasn't thinking about the effect of different circumferences being an issue until you mentioned it. Good catch.
Getting close. Waiting on my pipe and steering servo, so should be ready to test...
Besides the monster truck tires, I want to get some street tires too. What I'm looking to do is, I want larger tires on the rear, and smaller tires on the front. (mainly for aesthetics)
Maybe...
That's the one I ordered. And it was $10 cheaper than the 146C I looked at.
Went with the Savox SV-1270TG. Have one on my Bomber, and it works VERY well. Will twist the wheels off if you don't set the endpoints correctly. :D
Will only be running a 6V flat pack, so torque...
Finally got the FOC parts kit in (for ONE gear) so I got the transmission assembled. But the plus of having that extra gear now is, I can build a center diff if I ever want to try it out one day.
