If only $ 80 to go brushless with a 380 motor. Way to go. As upgrading from brushed to brushless will cost more than that.
Or get a roller and put in what motor you want.
I went 380 in my used...
Don't think there is one. At least not what I've seen. You will have better luck and cheaper just fixing what is breaking on your current one .
Aluminum a arms will break more than stock or...
I think you would have better luck going to big block motor. Aka 1/10th scale. Perhaps a 4600kv. Using the motor mount and spur cover from the brushed 550 titan. Which a 1/10 motor will bolt...
Really you have all that is needed. Perhaps a yeah racing heat sink and fan. And a motor temp sensor. If using the link app.
If keep pulling push rod ends perhaps suspension straps

Perhaps pull spur and run motor not connected to anything perhaps motor bearing. Or another bearing in diff going out. U also seem to have a lot of slop in your wheels.

Sounds like your having a blast with it!

+1.
Cold weather also reduces run time as well. Gearing plays a factor as well.

*No need for the innuendos.*
Another idea is are your pinion and spur the same pitch of teeth? If not this could also cause issues.

If motor is moving that is a major part of the problem. Perhaps loctite and or a spring or other anti backout washer as well. I always have a washer on my motor screws, as gives more surface area...
So if I went with 1100kv motor vs 800kv guessing I would get more top end speed. If geared correctly.
For me top end not a big issue as I normally just turn around after hitting my ramp. Wot...
I was looking at this combo from castles page. Wondering if should pull trigger to save a few $.
I don't need a new motor or esc. Still on stock electronics and gearing. But been toying...
I think he has a point. Turn tsm off and see how the car behave. I have many issues with tsm on. Normally loss of steering on my larger cars once servo gets hot and some weird straight line ...
A sensors motor will help with the cogging. Castle offers good motors n esc. Not sure what will fit the 1/16 size car. Can put in a 1/10 scale motor. Using the brushed motor mount plate and...
Iv been thinking this combo for my xmaxx

I have no issues with it in my 2wd.

Motor temps above 200f is not good. Either motor fans not doing their job, or broken Or not geared right. ( I dont know what stock gearing is off top of my head)

I don't think there is any upgrades parts for 3744. People normally just go to the 4x4 rustler servo saver set up. Unlinked above.

I run 150k front and rear in min as I like a more locked diff on my car.
No center diff. As I don't use that car a lot as xmaxx gets all the play time. But do run 3s on it.

Your looking for part https://m.traxxas.com/products/parts/6845X
It will fit the 2wd rustler and bandit. Have in my old 2wd rusty.
Of course there are aluminum one by hot racing and gpm and...
If do set end points maje sure tsm is totally off before hand.

If changed servos recently. And didn't adjust servo end points l. You may want to do that.
The steering stop prevents servo from turning to much and binding up.
Can run with part broken. ...
