Excited to see how it turns out
Can't wait to see how it turns out! Keep us posted
Since it's a vxl, I would say go for it. If the battery doesn't work, just upgrade to lipo. Trust me you'll regret it if you don't. But for 150$ you have a great deal
I found some xo1 shocks on eBay which were full aluminum and titanium gtr style shocks, just shortened versions since the xo1 has to sit low. I was gonna lower the stock gtrs with poly tube or...
Hmm, the gears are medal though. I'll check tonight.

Hi again, I have a TRAXXAS 2075 servo with savox gears and it turns fine one direction but the other direction, it makes a decently loud noise and gets stuck and it sounds like it just keeps trying...

Will do! Im happy with my flysky but then again I've only had it a couple months. I ordered some 1/8in washers and can always expand the center rivet size a tad. Plus they don't have to be too snug...
I only have the regular arms, so I'm thinking on using a few 1/8 in washers. Do you know for sure if it's exactly 1/8in diameter? At my local track, I found that lower is better. I found it a problem...
Thank you all, and yes I've seen 1258 on amazon and it's supposed to be a good servo, and yes razor, I saw your build and I'm using a lot of your methods and I think that's the system im gonna go...

If you're gonna do aluminum anything, do Aluminum steering blocks and caster blocks, but other than that, go with rpm a arms, and leave the stock steel links. The anadiozed aluminum links are cool...

Hi all, I have a slash 2wd lcg with a MMP/5700 to start out. I track it on AstroTurf with proline pinpoints and track only but am running into a few suspension problems.
The problem:
Back wheel...
Could we see some pictures? I'd love to see the truck! Sounds like a blast.
I wouldn't go with the mxl. I'd say go with a sidewinder8th with a 2650 or 2400kv motor or something like that. Unless you have the mxl laying around from another Traxxas rc. But yes, you can run 8th...
Thanks el sob! I will give them a shot!
I would honestly go in the neighbor hood of 19/86 or 21/86 with 48p gears or 13/54 with 32p. It's what I run at my local track and it works good.
xactly' what i was thinking, gonna try them.

Hello again, I spent all my money on good tires (proline pinpoints) on my slash 2wd track truck. I am looking for good Astro turf tires on my slash 4x4 that are cheap. I was thinking these....
