new shocks (stock), a new motor (stock), and a set of rear A-arms (stock). Yes, boring, but the racing is sooooo much fun
E-maxx is not very durable. get the E-Revo. 10 times more durable. as for a good car for a 7yr old, the slash. almost invinceable, waterproof, plenty fast, easy to drive, only takes 1 battery, and...
I think that the 23t motors were faster as well! It doesn't make any sense. The 21t heat up faster, are slower under a normal load, give less runtime, wear out faster, and get more dirt on the...
Your charger is a fine choice, but you need these batteries at least: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXVBP3&P=7 (*2), or if you want like 15-20 min runtimes get these...
ya, but i like the sensored design of the novak. I also like that it won't eat my nimh's for lunchhttp://i387.photobucket.com/albums/oo317/MooseDrool513/trink23.gif, then my drivetrain as dessert....
bump.......
how do you open it? I took out the screws, but I couldnt get it open
the summit is running one motor on one ESC. running 2 kershaw 700HO's on one EVX is extremely hard on it.
The OP mentioned DUAL 775s, the summit has 1
I was running a novak HV 6.5 pro system in my E-Revo, when it suddenly acted like it had a really strong drag brake. first thing I thought was that there was binding in the drivetrain, so I rolled...
they will not fit in the stock motor mount
-they need 5mm pinions (I think)
-they would need 2 EVX2s to run. running them both on one EVX2 would smoke that esc.
good vidhttp://i387.photobucket.com/albums/oo317/MooseDrool513/sign0098.gif, horrible songhttp://i387.photobucket.com/albums/oo317/MooseDrool513/791.gif
It is dark in my room and I couldnt find...
I know this sounds wierd, but a condom will work perfectly.
bump..........
32p pinions. just like the stockers.
How did you get that novak to fit in that motor mount? Are you using the novak pinion? The pinion is too long for me, so I have to have the motor mounted in the forward bracket.
yeah, I think traxxas is giving up on the maxx platform. Everything's all revo now.
any type of electric revo, or even a maxx for that matter.
LST as well
nope, farther away. a wider stance. it exposes more of the a arm, but you get much more stability.
offset is how the wheels mount up. an offset gives you a wider stance. The stocks are normal offset.
why those junky connectors? you are loosing a ton of power that way.
Well I have a VXL Rustler, A VXL stampede, an e-maxx, and am getting my E-Revo tomorrow. I will put brushless in the E-Revo. Oh, I also have a stock slash for racing. I will help you with a table on...
hmmm, now that's an idea. May just try that!
OK, so what can I use as a spacer, that I could buy at the hardware store, or maybe at the LHS. I don't want to have to order the motor spacer, because, I already ordered the RR pinion.
Well, the new models seem to have serious problems with the stock radio
