Yeah the stock motors are garbage. The brushes will either wear out extremely quick, or just weld themselves to the com.

Just go brushless for both.

I put a roaringtop 2200mah 25c in my daughter's Teton.

That I have done, no dice. Might just have to tear down the transmission and check bearings, and differential.

It's weird because only happens when on the break. Go full hard on the break...

I own a Rustler 4x4 VXL, runs just fine in mowed grass. Tall grass will slow it down and make it work much harder heat will become an issue.
