3s on the 2wd is fine, just watch the temps as mentioned already and adjust the slipper so it isn’t too tight(uncontrolled wheelies and flips) or too loose (overheating slipper pads)
It’s not ideal, I have one and you need to trim a ton off the wheel wells to not rub any tire bigger than the standard sct tries.
Google “slash 2wd 17mm adapters”
Take a look at proline jeep gladiator sct bodies, Baja bug, or the Megalodon. All three are open wheel, not truly truggy by any means, but something.
The width is a problem as 1/8 truggies are wiiiide compared to the slash so the bodies are going to be over 7 inches wide and rub
It’s perplexing why no one bothers to make a rustler like body...
Is anyone else consuming extra large amounts of popcorn waiting for this to drop?
What chassis is that? Looks really slick
In case you want steel ones that are more durable than aluminum

Slightly modified of course
Hmm have you tried the proline prime tires? They don’t balloon much I recall
Proline has a street fighter line too that works great on pavement
The lack of softer and taller tires for SCT is baffling, for sure
The closest I have seen is the associated DB8 wheels and tires that are very soft. That would require 17mm adapter though

I was thinking about this the other day, the only thing missing is a shorter Rustl4r since we have a hcg and lcg of each wheelbase except the shortest one
The fiesta st uses shorter telluride arms so much narrower than the older rally vxl.

I see this being asked all the time. Somehow MIP didn’t publicize this at the right time but they do make x duty driveshafts for bandit arms that work for the no prep drag cars
...
It will be hard to beat the MIP x duty made specifically for bandit. Those guys have been prepping for this no prep thing all along.
I’m just gonna leave this here and see if you take the bait
...
No. See the link. Trenchers generally speaking are pretty versatile
You could always try trencher sc tires
They even sell these mounted

There are still a few short course kits out there from a few other manufacturers and some are very good, if that’s what you are after.

Losi will be selling their drag car as both Rtr and as a roller so I imagine traxxas would do that too.
Lol.
On topic, looking at tekin, their drag motors range from 2.5T to 5T since they assume people run 1-2s. If the 2400kv funny car system is recreated either via the hoss power plant or a revival...
Buford T Justice was a charicature, but I feel more like him every day reading the news
“What in the . . . is the world coming to?”
Also, aha, a leg to stand on...I see what you did there.
