I ran 17/50 on 2s when I had the velineon.

It got hot, but never thermaled on me.

I've been very impressed with the tacon I am running.
The ********* is worth a look also.

Only one I have hooked up is the temp gauge.
It works on both of my non traxxas motors and batteries.
My buddy has most of the sensors. Hes not running a traxxas motor and it also works.

I got 6 packs through that combo, geared 15/54.
That motor got hot.

The motor is on its way to Novak now. Novak seems to think I was geared too high.
Ill let you know how it turns out.

Ran 2 packs-17/54, with the fan installed. 60 degrees Fahrenheit here. 121 was as hot as I could get it.
Ran at 112-116 for the majority of the time.

I did break both front axles though. MIP...

The only batteries I have experience with are Traxxas and Venom.
There was a noticeable difference between the two.
The traxxas are noticeably peppier.

Don't think that oil is from either. Only between motor/mount.
No evidence of diff issues, shocks are ok.

When I got the motor out, across the front of the motor/motor mount plate had oil? on it.
Motor smells awfully metallic. Not burnt,...

Haven't cracked the motor to know for sure. But motor turns, shaft doesnt.

I have a buddy running the 2400...its flawless.
Ill run the 2400 if I have to.
