It is really a much better idea to just use a brushless motor that fits your current setup. I have a thread where I did that very thing.

The chassis could be slightly warped, the screw holes for the rear shock tower in the chassis might even be slightly misaligned. As long as you can get the body on and it doesn't force the body to...
These will allow you to use equal offset rims front and rear.

I made this out of two 2s Venom batteries after I cracked the outer hard case on both. I took out the foam separators to make it as small as I could. Over time of its use the cells started to...
It may be commonly used for crawling but a servo really is not designed for high speed rigs or crawlers exclusively. They are either fast or high torque and the really expensive ones are both. The...
You sure it wasn't just a wheel hex pin falling out allowing the wheel to spin freely but get no power?
For these 1/16 scale Traxxas rigs the RPM stuff is awesome. On the 1/10 scale stuff it can bend under the static weight of the rig. Not on the 1/16th stuff it holds up great and can even play in the...
The rear diffs most commonly strip because the rear diff housing is weak and allows the ring and pinion gears to separate. This chews them up real fast with an audible clicking noise. No matter how...
Any and all gear possibilities are available you just might have to go farther than looking online for them. I have found calling them directly gets you access to much more inventory than they bother...
I hit up my local tracks once in awhile and check the "scufs" bin. Different places call them different things but the used track tires rarely get used up before being tossed in the bin. Some tracks...
Not sure how sophisticated your radar device is but are you taking the fastest speed you can detect while aiming at the rig or are you using a speed trap zone?
I ask because when I have used...
Volting up and gearing down is a effective way to keep heat on the lower end. The problem you might start to reach is traction. Since you will be able to put more power down at lower speeds. If you...
I have had this happen to me a fair number of times. Build up a project go to test and with what seems like just a feather touch on the throttle some shaft somewhere snaps off clean. Or a small...
Red n Tacky on the diff not in the diff but some do put it in and it won't hurt anything but it is not the best option. The grease you have will work just fine but will not give the best performance...
Sorry I left out the part about without rims included. With most cheap sets with rims included you can not be sure what type of bead they have. I have had a few turn out to be unique.
Started lurking from Squeegie's link and found these. Not sure if they fit but on the same thought as "OMG cheap" are these worth it just for the rims, I wonder.

I would guess that you are a fan of the WOT.
Wheel bearings are commonly connected to wobble but improper alignment is also another possibility.
You are putting a lot of stress on the diffs & suspension parts. Expect some premature wear on them. You might be overheating the electronic also but you can gear it down to address that.
Sorry completely missed you are talking about a 2wd in the 4x4 section.
MIP does make larger drive hubs. I had to use them on my diff when I built it to the Bulletproof V2 spec Shack351 outlined in this thread.

I will never suggest a slipper clutch eliminator as a reasonable solution. There is another problem somewhere that needs to be figured out first. I would suggest trying a center diff as an option to...
I wouldn't jump to that conclusion too fast. It is not like we all get personal notifications when someone posts. It can just take some time to get the right person to check.
If we are to be clear and accurate no Traxxas model has been sold with a plastic spur gear for over 15 years. They are all composite materials now. The formulation has changed at least 4 times and...
Did you calibrate the throttle end points when you did the swap?
