In theory yes. It depends on what temps it is running with stock tires. If its running close to hot with stock tires then gear down with bigger tires. I would recommend a temp gun and adjust gearing...
From stand still, on 6s, this truck will pull a clean standing back flip with no problem, especially on pavement. My vote goes to a bunk esc. Time to call up Traxxas support and get a replacement!

So, we went crawling for dad day and brought the gopro for the kids to mess with. The following is the edit that I found on my phone recently. The sport did amazing on that trip (as always)! Video...
This is true, where ever we go at least one person comes up and says "I have one too." It is great to see who comes out when they hear the whine of an rc car. Most random conversations can be had!

They were playing "tag", a most cringe worthy experience!

Another friend of my son, he's been broken in for a couple of years. Straight up street...
Per Traxxas instructions, do not adjust steering trim with tsm on. Make sure tsm is completely off before making steering trim adjustments. Also, I've noticed that tsm can kinda slow the steering...
Think of gearing as a ratio, I dont recall the stock gearing on a slash but we can input any number to achieve the same goal. The spur usually has a bigger diameter than the pinion, so a 25 tooth...
Thank you all! We had fun, even though my sons car broke the steering arm on the way out to the bash spot. The Frankenstein slash was missing a shoulder screw for the steering knuckle, which we found...
Thank you sir. It spent awhile in the shed until I painted it up. Still have a couple more to paint, eventually....
This is true, I believe I was running 1/8 buggy tires on that truck.

On 3s that motor can be geared up! I think I was running a 21/50 ratio, same motor same 3s. It was wicked quick. I could have geared higher, but that was the sweet spot for fun 3s running and crazy...
Today I took my son and one of his friends out to drive the rc cars. Now, my boy knows how to drive. Sometimes better than I, but his friend is as green as healthy grass. This is why I keep the...
Electrical tap works as well, it's not a reusable solution though. Taking out some of the slack in the wires helps also.

Glad it got sorted out! I know I've experienced "dead spots" with TSM. Its usually low on the percentage. Keep having fun!

The funny thing is, very few will post to a forum how amazing something is. 90% of people come here to get help solving an issue. Having said that, yes, traxxas has issues with electronics. As do...
Think of a shopping cart, the front has alot of caster. What happens while pushing a shopping cart backwards? It will naturally try to spin the front around. Same thing happens on the slash, except...
It's amazing how when you bring the rc out in public masses of "I have one!", "I want one!" , and all around interest gets stirred up. I just gave a neighborhood kid a 2wd slash, battery and charger I...

Suspension setup is very personal, no two people drive the same nor is two different locations the same. Let's start with what is the vehicle doing that you wish to improve?

Not so much the foams, they are little nova foams. They boy was on a wood ladder bridge and the tire got hung up between the slats. Something had to give when he goosed the throttle.

And the motion passes. Mip and done.
