I got mine today. They fit tight and fill the entire battery tray. The wires are a little long, so going to have some way to keep them from flopping around. They are nice looking batteries.
So upgraded to lipos and she getting very hot. Any good motor heatsinks and ESC retrofit kits out there that work well?
I order a set also. Looks like they just came out with these. Hope to get them tomorrow. Maybe Sunday I'll run If I have time.

Went with SMC 6700mah 3s. Can't wait to run them.
I was looking at Wild Turbo Fans for my shroud. My shroud is not a Castle but these do fit it mine. I would measure your to see fit they fit. Most are 30x30x10 thickness may vary. I wanted to use...
Anyone tried these? How are you liking them? Been looking at SMC also.
Try to balance them. Taping can sometimes throw off balance and tear up bearings.
I like the Badlands also but if you run them on the street they won't last long.
L.E.M http://store.leadingedgemachining.net/product-p/lem-238.htm for the rear.
The front you don't have to worry about to much, just get the Revo 1/10 Diff Cup V2 Combo Set or buy them separately.
Highly recommend get all L.E.M parts http://store.leadingedgemachining.ne...ory-s/1832.htm and aluminum diff housing, cup and bearings. I used this Hot Racing RVO11MX01 diff housing, TRB RC...
Looks like a SIDEWINDER SCT 1410-3800KV. Doesn't look sensored but I don't think the sensor wire will fit because the ESC is close to the back of the motor also don't see the wire.
Castle makes a waterproof bec.
Those won't fit they're to high need to be under 30mm, though I would have to agree about C ratings. I bought some cheaper 25c and they don't like it if you run them hard. Other wise they're fine....
For your 3906 model, can you still buy the original RX receiver and ESC brand new? In other words, if you wanted to keep your 3906 model the way you bought it around 2001, could you find every part...
Traxxas seems to keep what works well and makes money. I bought my first E Maxx 3906 around 2001 that's 16 year ago and I can still find parts for it. Traxxas makes so many service parts for their...
I remember seeing Trx cvds an optional longer cup for use with LT rockers. You'll most likely twist the axles on 6s, I did. You can use MIP"s with LT's rockers. I don't see why they wouldn't work,...
They'll work fine. I run them without issues but use 08135 witch are the same as #11101 only different part# . Those parts are direct replacements they'll work together. RPM True Track will not work...
#11103 are for e maxx. The #11101 for E Revo and 08135 t maxx are the same part only different part#. The 08135 are cheaper. Don't know why MIP does this, most likely to make money. I bet they should...
I wounder if the all metal geared servo or parts will transferable to upgrade other traxxas vehicles
No,
IMO the front is much stronger than the rear. I don't worry to much about the front only hitting something hard and breaking the bulkheads. It does flex a lot which is a good thing keeping it...
I have the LEM I-bar in there.
No,from what I've heard from other people in there customer service is terrible. Most likey just going to order a LEM cup plus I already modified the cup. I'll see if it holds up for the next 10 runs...
No, there shouldn't be any there only on the stub shafts.
Doing some maintenance today on my rear diff to see how things are holding up, only to see a bad sight.
