The better questions are why are you considering upgrading and what do you hope to gain from said upgrade?
If you're trying to identify which version of T-Maxx you have, you're going to want to post a picture (or a few). :)
Sounds like a good excuse for an upgrade (as annoying as break downs can be)!
I had to remove and edit several posts in this thread due to non-Traxxas vehicle discussion. Please avoid discussion of non-Traxxas vehicles, as such discussion is against the forum rules. Thanks.
I've been using it for several years, wish I had found it sooner. It's so much easier than trying to check every now and then. Sometimes the messages are delayed enough that the item may already be...
Did someone say e-clips?
All models of the E-Maxx have always used Traxxas' Ultra Shocks in XX-Long size, part number 2656 (stock) or 2656T (TiN coated); either of those will be exact replacements for your stock shafts.

Yeah, anything other than the Blast will be far too big and too fast for a pool. Even then, I don't know how much fun a boat that size (it's not that big, but still) would be in such a small space.
Did you check/try replacing the batteries in the transmitter? Perhaps that got left on and the batteries died?
If there's ever anything I'm looking for (especially if it's a rarer item), I set up notifications/alerts on eBay so I get notified when/if one is listed for sale.
Ignorance is bliss!
(Just be sure to keep an eye on it when the temps start to get warmer.)
Glad you're back in business, enjoy!
Sounds like a fun project, I'm looking forward to your updates and pictures!
Glad you're rolling again. I'm sure most all of us have done that at one point or another! :D
Sounds like E/T-Maxx parts; those trucks used 8 XX-Long shocks (same as Rustler rear) and had upper and lower suspension arms.
Looks nice, the folding mirrors are a nice touch!
I know it's a basic question, but have you replaced the transmitter batteries during your trouble shooting?
Careful, don't jinx yourself!
Glad you're back in business, enjoy!
Those cases are definitely cool!
Welcome to the Traxxas forums! Glad to hear that you're finding some enjoyment during these odd times!
The Stampede shocks are actually the same as the Rustler shocks (long and XX-Long Ultra Shocks). While the two models have very different styles, they're actually quite similar. A-arms, shocks, shock...
Yes, it looks like a great truck for that sorta driving. I used to do a lot of rock and trail driving back in the day with my E-Maxx; it struggled, but it was still fun and it was what I had.
Yes, it's a shame more people don't read the manual for their Traxxas R/Cs as they're very detailed and have a lot of good information. :)
Doesn't sound like you made it if you took out a spur on your first pack and the tower/bulk on the second!
I'm very sorry to hear that this happened. Hopefully you reported them to your local authorities and they get stopped down the road.
(Side note to all: Be careful with the political conversations,...
