Actually I reset the accelerometer tonight and gave it a go in the basement were there’s more room. Made a big difference and basically hovered hands free very nicely. Anyone know how I can reduce...
Hey all,
I’m hoping some of you can help me out. I recently bought an alias and just did the first flight. My first impression was wow this is more difficult than I thought. I have flow RC helis...
I did the aluminum oil filled shocks, bearings, and larger battery. Nice difference over stock.
I actually got some parts from dollarhobbyz which were really cheap :)
Hey, I am pretty sure it wasn't the battery that caused it to strip. I have been using those batteries and have not had that issue. Hard to say why it happened. I believe the diff is a weak point...
Looks like I figured it out myself. The little plastic collar that butts up against the bearing; make sure a small gap is left and it's not assembled to tight. Smooth running now :)
Hey everyone. Hoping someone can help me out. I had a little wobble in the rear wheel so I ended up swapping all bushings to the bearing kit, which seemed to go smoothly. What I have noticed now...
Ok thanks. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't oblivious to a better way. Thanks for the reply!

Really, no one?
Hey All,well this may be a stupid question but I am going to take mine apart for the first time to add the bearings, and was wondering the best way to remove the little camber links without damaging...
Thanks for your help again guys.
I will check all pins in drive shafts, check diffs, then if thats not it check reverse in tranny. Since I have never opened up the tranny before, is it...
Hey all,
so I was out rippin around this afternoon and all of a sudden something starting clicking. Something seems to lock the drive shaft somehow until pressure is applied (Engine or pushed...
Thanks! I bet thats exactly what it is. What piston # should be in the back vs front? Cause I got them mixed up now :(
Thanks!!
Jer
Hey all, well I just put new fluid in my shock tonight and something weird happened. When I reinstalled the shocks I noticed when I pushed down on the front the one was harder then the other, same...
Hey all,
Just wondering how long you guys think a container of fuel is good for. I bought a extra jug last season and its been sitting almost a year. It has not been opened and has been kept in...
hey I just rebuilt my diffs on my revo and found out that they are different! 5581 is for the jato, and 5381 is the revo. The 5581 seals and washers do not fit over the gear shaft.
Jer
thanks for the aseembly advice.
The actualy diff seems ok. It is the ring gear that binds a little...its like it gets caught every turn or two. Mind you, the bulkhead is still off the truck at...
I didn't know you could buy the whole diff assembled new..? Even with the housing too?
maybe i will give that a shot. You think it could be the lithium grease causing the binding? Would the 30K be too runny for the larger gear.
Hey all,
well, I'm in the midst of rebuilding my diffs for the first time. The front went fine, but I'm having issues with the rear one.
I just put new seals in, new lube, and lith. grease. ...
cool,
thanks for the ultra fast response guys!!

Hey all,
I am rebuilding my front and rear diffs and am not sure what part number is for just the seals. Its for a Revo 3.3
I tried #5581 but the seals are to small, so I figured I must have...
Ya I agree. The guy at the LHS doesn't know what he is talking about. I think I am going to stick with the 30k in the front and back (stock setup). Worked well for me so why change.
Thanks for...
So would there be a benfit to go down to 15k front and back? The guy at the LHS said 30K will basically lock your diffs?
Thanks,
Jer
Hey all,
just wondering what diff oil you guys use? I want to keep my 3.3 pretty much stock cause it works well for me. The LHS said 30K is way to thick and recommended 10K or 15K front and...
