You've sort of answered your own question. Lithium Polymer and Lithium Ion. Different chemistry, different rules.
Run your truck until LVC kicks in, if you want to be really safe, turn it off then....

Got the diff fluid swapped out & it's all rebuilt. Just need to drive it now.

The truck runs perfectly well, but only as if it is in Race Mode. Only thing to report, the motor seems to be very hot & the ESC is toasty as well.

As title guys, why no reverse? A friends truck is misbehaving.

Same in all 3 modes, tried resetting everything and ESC calibration to handset.

Even tried pushing the truck backwards, still...

I run adaptors as well, so can use batteries with XT90s.
You can find adaptors on ebay and amazon, or most model shops carry them.
