Hi,
I have a Nitro Rustler and would like to change the steering blocks so that the wheel bearings are mounted in the steering block and not the wheel itself. Eventually i would like to use...
Hello All,

I have a set of MIP's and i didnt grease mine. I believe the grease is recommended to keep rust from forming. Mine have actually developed some surface rust, but it hasnt caused any binding or...

Although the spur gear seems to be protected from debris, I always seem to get small stones and debris stuck in there. I dont know how they make their way into there, but im starting to get tired of...
I would go with the Onyx 245 and get a cheaper battery, maybe from SPC. Then order a HW WPSC8 ESC (waterproof ESC) with a HW 4 pole motor (3400kV or 4000kV).
The 2WD Stampede's driveline will be fine on 2S. 3S is a different story, but i cant see any issues with the driveline if your only using a 2S lipo. Spend money only when you have to!
I have both Stampede vehicles (2WD and 4WD). If i were in your shoes, i would go with option 1. I wouldnt necessarily buy those exact parts, but its the right idea.
Only drawback with SPC's is that if your looking for the bullet style connections to the pack, you wont find them with the SPC's. Otherwise they are pretty good packs.
Some bashing with my Mutt!

MIP X-Duty on all 4's
No issues with the 5145's.
Ok, thanks.
What if you try to use them with the stock plastic castor blocks?
So, they will just screw into the stock hole without any mods?
The one on the bottom.
Ok, yea, i got it. I was able to find the parts online. Thanks for the update.
So, those "pins" your referring to replace the vertical steering pin part#3740? Also, do you have part numbers? Thanks!
Thanks WD. I might just try using the castor blocks and see what happens. Sounds like you have had some success with that setup.
One thing that i always manage to damage on my Digger are the vertical steering pins that connect the steering blocks to the castor blocks. All it takes is a hit to a curb or the tree that jumps out...
+1 on the 5145's. Also use the red Loctite when installing.
If my memory serves me correctly:
RED ESC:BLUE MOTOR
WHITE ESC:YELLOW MOTOR
BLACK ESC:WHITE MOTOR
Regarding Jimmie Neutron's Tower Hobbies Comment:
