    I'll do that mate, and the tune is abit on the rich side at bottom end but it revs very high, the slipper is tight but even on long straights with the engine screaming it just won't change gear

    Yes mate it's much better, lasts longer and gives a lot more power to the servo's consistently (6v as apposed for 4 or so with AA's) you'll notice your servo's are a lot faster :)

    Sounds like a warm up thing. Ive had cars do this before the engine gets up to a reasonable temperature, or if you're priming it well and it's idling for a second them dying the lsn could be too lean.
