Welcome to the addiction.....
I have the Weld wheels also, just have not used them yet.
When do you expect to get the funny car?
Welcome and hope you enjoy your new car.
Which one did you buy?
I use the Hot Racing tranny in one of my Slash's and the Proline in the other. I like the HR tranny better...... JMO
He was at the x games in Texas today and finished third .
Lots of cleaning to do... Lol
Looks really nice. I like the Red Bull theme.
I like the red, carriers in red will complete the look....
When you can... stay in touch.
I know the feeling when the kids and grand kids loose the interest and choose other things to do.
Nice to hear all went well.
I still use hatch tape because of the salt water I run in.... Just a precaution on my end.
It may be a bit of overkill to disassemble the motor each time but I feel if it is working for you than just do it.
In over 3 years I have never had any of my motors (stock) apart. I do put a...
Just build one yourself, it's part of the fun of the hobby.
I bought my first boat trailer from a forum member, then went on line to see how others were built, since then I have built several for...
I have always run my Spartans in salt water (three years now) and had a few small issues at first with some minor corrosion due to not rinsing the boats thoroughly.
But since than I have had no...
That is one fine looking ride. Very nice job!
You need to click on the balance charge. Just having the connector plugged in will not automatically do a balance charge.
At least I have to select the balance mode on my charger.
I have only had mine for a few weeks but have had a lot of fun with so far. It's nice to have my son-in-law to run with as he has one also.
Do you happen to know the name of the club?
Glad to hear that the gyro worked out well. I use them on my 2wd Slash's with great success.
My son-in-law and I are going to the school parking lot tomorrow for some fun with our Traxxas funny...
I like the silver and blue color combo as well.... One of my favorites!
What a surprise :woot:.... For my birthday I received a Courtney Force funny car.
I didn't know it but my son-in-law had bought one also for himself. The kids bought them at the drag...
Looks real good.... nice paint job!
I think the secret to using liquid mask is to be sure to apply a heavy coat, at least that has been my personal experience. I use tape and liquid mask when painting my rc bodies.
A Spartan with stock electronics can and will do over 60 mph with a larger prop such as a Octura M445 or a Prather 220.
The larger props will cause undue stress to the esc and even puff batteries...
I also really like the Bug body.... Nice looking colors.
I would suggest you contact Traxxas and go from there.
It's not real simple to do what you are requesting.
