It is a furniture slider. I ended up bolting one to the top of my first X-Maxx to prevent the top from getting scraped. I did not realize how strong the body was with a full Shoe Goo and FibaTape...
Never had that issue. Is it the wheel or just an unusual amount of loctite on the threads?
Get the RPM front and rear bumper supports
If you fully enforced the body with Shoe Goo and FibaTape you will have to intentionally have to run the truck over with a car to break it. I have bashed my trucks horribly and landed flat upside...
This is what I use for mine. You will need to put a 2x4 under the rear of the truck if you have a wheelie bar on the X-Maxx or you can flip the truck upside down if you have a modified front bumper...

I have run over 100 in my stock XO-1 with nothing more than came in the box of the XO-1
Wow, it has been a long time. I just storage charged my batteries for the X-Maxx today. It has been sitting on the shelf for over a year now and I still have not fixed it. The stock Traxxas...
Or a 4 tec 2.0
Heat the tires up first
I would buy the C8 body for one of mine if Traxxas made one
What do you mean by clipless body?
Check your wheel bearings and servo gears
...
:O.o:
I agree with the comments on the bulkhead. Check your bumper support too.
X-Maxx hands down or go with a Maxx (not X-Maxx) over the E-Revo 2.0. If I was starting out in the hobby I would get a Maxx to start with. It is the best of both worlds especially after you get...
Have not run mine this year yet. I want to, but it is still broken along with five of my other Traxxas vehicles lol. Have parts but no time.
I have as well and swapped TSM into mine. I didn't care about waterproofing mine though because I only run when it is dry.
How fast is that thing going on those jumps?
Man, you are getting serious air with that thing! Nice videos!
I want to see some videos of this thing run
Thanks for this post. Never thought about how widening it would basically make it like my E-Revo 2.0 minus the metal parts.
If I did not have my E-Revo 2.0 I would have bought a Maxx a long time ago. I have a Slash 4x4 Platinum and an 8S X-Maxx and just have not been able to justify getting a Maxx. I would rather have a...
Nice. That is my favorite X-Maxx color.
Your differentials are going to hate that if you do not upgrade to the 8S ones
