I put the 3.3 on mine from the .15 stupid fast. I have the largest bell gear and smallest spur gear I could find and it still wheelies like not tomorrow. Throttle control is key. I'd go big

Can try regearing for better acceleration. Tune it really well. Maybe a 3.3. Just a few off the top of my head. Does it spin the tires from a dead stop or just go?

My kids had some cheap wheel tire combo from China on their rustler xl-5's and they cracked and stripped out the center. Bone stock cars.

I got one of the cheapo menards gal compressors $50 for under my work bench in the basement. Only use it to spray off parts. I keep the psi around 30psi at the blow gun.

The ones that specify capable of running 2-6s. When 4 is not enough but 6 is too much.

Thought it was possible as long all the other ratings were the same? Herd of people taking a 2s and 3s and put in series to make a 5s battery. Wouldnt it be the same concept? Just can't put in...
Don't do it!! It's a trap!! Stick to hot wheels n legos once you buy him one you will need to buy yourself one and another one and so on. Soon you will be walking around with a RC IV in your arm. ...

Being able to have the power when I want. I normally run 3s or 4s which helps keep the front end down, when I run 6s is when the back flips occur. I've just been too lazy to change the gearing.

Front was stampede 4x4 /back a block that raised the stock one 1 1/2inches.

You have any pics of how it's coming along? The stampede tires will be too tall I think.

Sorry for the much delayed response. I don't run any gps or anything but I would have to guess that it is well into the 30mph and wheelies a lot more and longer. I put the hobbywing ezrun sensored...

Where do people go to get rid of lipo batteries? I have a new 2s battery that my dog thought was a gift for her. It doesn't hold any voltage I have it in a fire bag right...
I would follow the traxxas break in procedure.
The trade in program isn't bad if you want to upgrade or have one that is beyond repair

You could just in hook it from the glow plug and in case you forget to charge or put batteries in the igniter you have a backup

I believe those tires are the ones. When you said 1/16 summit I was thinking slash, I'm not sure about the summit ones but if the wheel will fit a 4x4 version of slash/stampede/telluride they should...
The 1/16 wheel are too small and will hit the knuckle on the inside. The guy that made the teluride looking one ran rally tires which are shorter

I had to trim the blue plate and add a spacer(nut). You can see them in the pictures. At first I used heavily modified rustler front A arms all the way around but found the truck to be too tippy so...
