I'm running 6 S too
trencher 40 series (discontinued as usual with proline...) on axial oversized wheels
good grip, good for bashing, but not the better for crawling...
Nice !! the body looks awesome, do you paint it ?
but....still a gray chassis :p
really nice work Macfab !!
tankifrank you said that LEM parts cause the diff stripping ?? really
I drive my BL summit like it's a full basher (but a fat one !!) and never break anything in the...
with my Futaba 4PL I'm using the T-lock controller #5697
maybe it can work for you...
wow ! nice job !
but have you post some tread about your second summit ? I'm interested in the fpv stuff...
stock radio/Rx will not let you use 7.4V, so yes you need a BEC
You're welcome ;)
Hi,
use a little drop of grease instead of oil
ending of the rebuild !! and all the driveline parts are still as new !!
I changed all the bearing (after 3 years for the most...) and a few parts cause a summit on a bmx track is not the better...
IMO if you want to upgrade the motor, go for a brushless sensored system, you will gain power AND runtime !! you can crawl with a sensored system, but you will have lot of power, so yes you will kill...
7200 3S !!! wow this will be a non ending run !!
of course... I use one:)
the idea come from chainsaw10
here
RCCrawler
A SC8 roll cage can be nice, if you plan to mount the cam on the roof.
still hope for a retro fitting, at least for the diff... but if they sell it as a roller, I think we can forget about it....
maybe a summit 2.0 in few weeks!!! :D :D
Sumit is still here, and now he wants to jump...

Gravedigger......
I'm waiting too ;)
You gone too far to let it die
I just tried it with the cam on the inside of roof, and it seems to be doable...
I will work on it as soon as I've got some time
don't tempt me :o
I've got all the stuff to made it... a drone waiting in a box for some motivation...
but I think the SC8 roll cage that I use is too low for a good support for the cam... hummm...
and still minimal torque...
stay stock and be careful next time ;)
