I believe the Sportmaxx has two advantages over the T. One is the ligtweigtht. The other is forward only. I have already taken my front diff out of my T. Now I am waiting for my FOC to come in...
At autozone they had some high temp multy purpose grease made by Exxon. This Is what I used, But reader beware I have not run my truck on this yet. While my truck is torn down I am waiting on my...
i just broke my carb on my 2.5. Can anyone suggest a good afetrmarket slide carb, or is my best bet just to replace the 2.5 carb? thanks
My 2.5 runs better on Monsterhorsepower too. IMO traxxas fuel has so much oil content that it is hard to get a good tune. either I will run way too lean, or I am so rich that my truck won't even...
You could adjust your shocks. Move the bottom of the shock out a little. Your truck won't ride as high, but I think it will fix your problem.
I have the big bore pipe on mine and love it. I think my truck is faster than it has ever been top end and low end!

I have already done most of those things. And I admit that it is a good Idea to save the mony for a rainy day. I am just scared that if I do that my wife will start doing a rain dance!
I can't decide fellas, so I'm gonna leave it up to you guys. I have about five hundred dollars to spend and I know I want to spend it on RC. My delimma is this; Do I dump the money into my Maxx or...
Hey Tmaxxium,
I am in the same situation you are. My lhs is Tower Hobbies. I have to order all my hopups and gas online becasue there is not a hobby shop within two hours of my house.

Sirio Big Bore! Huge difference in low end power. I just got my new pipe a week ago and now I need get a wheelie bar to go with it!
if you decide to go with this pipe you will have to retune...
If it makes you feel any better, I have put almost 5 gallons through mine and it still runs so hard it is scary. I don't even have the room in my neghborhood to get to wide open throttle!!
Great to hear of Dad's getting into this hobby with their sons. My son has a stampede and we have a blast together. That is until one of us breaks down. We always seem to get a little rowdy when...

The biggest change I have seen in performance is when I changed my airfilter and exhaust pipe. Motorsaver air filter. and Sirio Big bore pipe. You will have to richen both needle settings to...
I don't have any expierience with that particular brake set. I use the graphite brake disk and love it. If you set your linkage right you get a real good bite. brake disk
Here is a link to the T-maxx gallery of my webpage. Hope you like them.
Thats right, everyone else is complaning about the price of replacement parts. I'm going broke off of buying gas! lol
I can't give you a definate yes or no on the filtration of the filter. I have tried a different filter before and it helped a lot. It was a cloth mesh filter like a K&N, but it was some off brand...
I am going through what you are asking about right now. I just bought a Stampede for my son this Christmas. Befor we ever ran it I installed an rpm bumper. On the first run the rotary speed...
You don't have to cut the tie every time. I just take the top of my filter off of the boot. It is a little inconvienent, but I would rather do this than replace the tie every time.
I had the same thing happen to my throttle linkage. I landed bad on a jump, and the carb got stuck WOT. I was lucky though, it hit a big root sticking up from the ground and flipped over on it's...
I would like the El Camino... But without the engine on the hood..
Sounds like you have yourself a hot little truck. I think that the 40 series tires/rims would really set off any of those bodies! You should post some pics, I would like to see this thing!
Thanks for your information vbmaxxer. I will try out a motorsaver next time I have a chance. The filter I have on there is not going to stay on there all the time. I don't trust it to jump off in...
Hey guys
I thought I would show you all what I did with my air filter. I found a K&N style (not made by K&N) filter at Autozone for only $5.99. If you cut the rubber boot out of it your stock...
