What KV motor did you pick?
Its like you read my mind with this build. Looks great!
One of my favorite trucks! I highly recommend.
If you are still looking, I may be parting with mine. It has only a few runs on it and tons of NIB items from Tbone, Hobbystar, Hobbywing, Traxxas and RPM. There is probably $600 worth of new never...
Look at B&M racing battery trays and straps. They are well worth it!
The max6 fits fine, its tight, but fits. I am running one along with a Hobbystar 2000kv motor and love the power it puts out. I would also recommend going back to stock gearing, u a plastic spur and...
Great reasoning.
Grip, what made you decide on mod1 VS mod1.5?
Mine was changed to XT90 when they allowed me to purchase a new one at half price. Revo, I prefer the XT90 over the Traxxas style. They can handle more current and are standard on some other models.
I just got a replacement ESC for my 2.0 today. If I don't sell it, I will cut the stock ID plugs off and send the to you for the cost of a set of XT90's. That is all I use on all of my vehicles...
Grip, sent you a PM, if you dont mind checking.
RPM true track is a great upgrade. The front carriers are also awesome as long as the ring mod is done. The larger bearings are nice.
Ordered the front bumper and skid today.
Good call!
Since you don't seem to believe everyone else, yes it can.
Interested in an update as well. I live in Texas where summer temps get to 100 plus for days on end.
Yeah Racing Aluminum M3 Rod Ends (5pcs) Red #YA-0550RD for the shocks, they have them in silver and black as well. RPM part #80472, I will have to get pics.
Running the Yeah Racing dual tornado on my 2.0. It gets hot here in Texas, 100+ in August generally.
Yeah Racing makes shock ends that fit. I have them on my 2.0 and haven't issues since with the shocks. I am using the red aluminum push rods and RPM rod ends with no issues there either.
Running the Savox SB-2270SG in my V2 and Yeti XL's, Hitec 7955TG in the V1 E-Revo.
You are one of the lucky ones then. I have had my hands on a few and all have had the same issue. Several others on FB are also seeing that their rear shock spring retainers hit the rockers.
Actually Fancy, the fix isn't as simple as just installing an aluminum brace. The rear shock ends are an engineering issue. At full droop the spring retainers are actually hitting the rockers causing...
At full droop you can see that the spring retainers on the rear shocks hit the rockers now. That wasn't the case with the V1. This causes the the rocker to pull hard outwardly on the shock ends.
Looking good!
Most people in general do not like change. That being said, I hope you will start to frequent the forums more often oomp. You have always been an asset!!!
