Yeah Nitro, I'd say you know a little about tuning lol
always check gear mesh. I would say that theoretically it should line up since the tranny is a fixed position mount whereas the engine can be moved all around. Plus your changing the slipper out so...
If you want a good all around pipe try the ercm small block pipe. part number 221 i believe.
Any new updates to the trans issue?
It doesn't matter if their track cars or not. It's all in having fun man. I can't wait to see more pics of the track all finished up.
Forza 4 is awesome. Outlawdriver00 is my tag on xbox live.
Hey SLW-SVT, you have a video of it running? I bet it sounds beyond amazing!
I know here in Ohio we have the RC Factory about an hour south of Columbus. Pretty sweet indoor nitro track.
OOHHHH lol my bad. Yeah that'd be awesome
I have a 1/5th scale 4wd buggy. It's pretty sweet. Whole different animal than anything else i think.
Their out there man. Look em up on youtube
The motor is an RB TM523
Prayers for all you in the affected area
Yeah unless you live in Columbus, you don't have to worry about emissions here in Ohio. The RB26DETT(Skyline GTR-R34 motor) can pump out around 600hp without ever even opening up the bottom end. I've...
If it wasnt illegal to own an R34 I'd love to have one. But next best thing is to drop that motor in the datsun. ANd since the datsun is pre-1975 there doesn't have to be any cats on it.
Glad to see her coming along kenny. Those block offs are good for at least an extra 75-100hp right? lol
The 20det isn't a bad motor by any means. Pretty strong in fact. The main reason that we are going with the 25det is to keep the inline 6 going since that is what comes factory via the L28 motor....
That is very true. lol
I'll be honest i can't say I expected to see this many replies with thing people have done. I am impressed. Keep them coming guys.
The nose of the 240Z won't allow for awd, at least not w/o way more work than what my welding skills are capable of lol.
With all of our research we've been doing we're thinking(since the Datsun will be RWD not AWD like a Skyline) that 400RWHP should be more than enough. I mean the car only weighs in at 2300lbs. Plus...
It would have a "tuner" style exhaust Kenny, not a fart can but a true 3" into whatever can works best. Just not the autozone special that the 16 yr old put on his honda lol.
I know that a V8 would be a cheaper swap, but the sound of an RB motor is hard to beat. I'm not one of those "tuner kids" I just want to have something that no one around here has.
So my brother and I are looking into a project that will take a few years to complete. Our "victim" will be a '72 Datsun 240Z. The plan is to swap out for a new, "built" either SR20 or RB26 engine...
Take a look at tekno rc. They make a throttle and brake set up to work really well. No optidrive doesn't have to be used. If your going single servo I would look at a JR Sport high torque servo....
