Ok I see what your saying. But you still wouldn't be able to run those with the teknos themselves. The inner bearing is a larger bearing like the front inner. So running two 6x whatever would cause...

How would finding the right bearings work on the rears of the stock or xo-1 axles if the inner bearing is smaller then the teknos inner bearing.

Only the front knuckles would work. You can not use the xo-1 rear carriers with the teknos. Unless you do a hybrid to run the protrac arms.
Now the C blocks you can use with tekno front knuckles

The only thing keeping those pins in place are the bearings in the axle carriers when using the full tekno kit.
As for the washers I'm not 100% certain cause I don't run the full kit but I would...

There are some cheaper brushless systems out there that members use. My first motor/esc upgrade cost me a tad over 100 and the motor is still being used in my sons vehicle

I agree with the plastic spur. The only time I've chewed one up is forgetting to tighten up the set screw on pinion gear or screw on motor mount. Once those are tight and my gear mesh is right I did...

On the lcg chassis you can use existing holes there. As for the top plate he has on it it's from an erevo if I remember correctly.

Yes but then you'll need different stub axles or change the smaller bearings 6x10x4 I believe is right od x thickness. Personally I like the 17mm hexs that you use with the xo-1 stubs better then...

Ya I don't know what your stock pinion and spur gear was wasn't it a 48p setup? Most of the stock 32p brushed setup if memory is right was 9/54 maybe 11/54. I do know I have those two in my parts...

Help me decide between hcg and lcg slash 4x4

If your referring to the center shaft on the lcg there's no need for a cover. Since the shaft is up higher from the chassis. Think of the hog or the stampede where the shaft runs through the chassis....

Do you have a light come on on the esc? If no light with a charged battery I'd say your esc went bye bye. If you do have a solid light on then it'll be your motor. Or could be bad connection

To run tekno with protrac you'll need the following:
    Tra6454 front stub axles
Tra6453 rear stub axles. Both front and rear are 6mm stubs which is what Tekno's are if I remember right

If your gonna keep the stock setup I'd go back to stock pinion gear. I know it's slow with that gearing. If you want to run longer and lower temps I'd upgrade to a brushless setup.

Well the 16t pinion didn't help with a brushed motor. Question is how do you run your car? A brushless system would be better but depends on how your drive and terrain you drive on
