I've only seen this happen when the polarity was reversed or the esc was previously damaged.

I've always thought about making a tool for this job. Frustrating, especially when the parts go flying away and get lost

I made some cradles out of scrap 6" wide aluminum, it was diamond plate so I had to heat up the areas where I bent it to keep the metal from cracking. Two vertical mounting screws to attach it to a...
I don't use them as a work stand but I guess you could, a Blue Bunny ice cream container flipped upside down. I use them to store "work in progress" cars in my basement on.

These HRB batteries I have are as follows, 11.1 v, 5000mah 50c is 155x48x24mm. The 7.4 is 5000mah 50/100c 155x48x16mm.

I'll get the specs off them and see if I can remember where I got them. Probably ebay.

I have some 2s HRB packs that were thin enough to fit in the battery tray stacked with the optional tall battery hold down kit to hold them securely.

Those are for a 2wd Slash, wide ones are in the front. Had you bought them for a 4x4 Slash they would all be the stock 5.5mm width. What width is on a Hoss, that I do not know. If you use the 7mm on...
I've put the spiral gear sets in one of my 4x4 Slashes. The only difference is the pinion. The ring gear is just "flipped" over from front to rear. I don't remember if it was a Slash or a Slayer...
I think the Bandits use the same size inner and outer bearing for the rear bearing carriers whereas the Slash/Stampede use a larger diameter inner bearing. This could be the kit discrepancy

I didn't see where Parma PSE was out of business, it looks like they're accepting backorders.

Not sure where to find Parma but RJSpeed has a 69 Charger body listed under their 1/10 Bolink body tab. It's only 10 to 11" wheelbase though and the grille looks like a 68.

It could be if you didn't want to mess with steering and just put tank treads on but then that would require braking on each side of the diff. How about 4 wheel steering instead?

The common parts would be the electronics, rear wheels/tires, although slightly different the rear axles, bearing carriers and rear a-arms will interchange. I agree with everyone else that buying a...
I use a oil designed for electric motors, Supco zoom spout oiler. Amazon has it and most hobby shops probably have something like it.

I was hoping someone had an answer because the best no prep cars I've seen run sub 2.5 second runs.

I've used the Zee, Hobbystar, HRB, Spektrum, Traxxas and Gens Ace brands and others I can't think of right now with no issues. RCJuice has good prices on a lot of the more inexpensive batteries. Lipo...
Sorry, I mixed up what I have, my XR8 SCT and XR8 Plus are sensored. I might have the Max 10 in something, i'd have to check.

I'd go with that 120a Max 10 combo if your budget allows. It would work much better especially with a higher C rated battery than a 60 amp esc. I believe it's sensored too so make sure your esc to...
The Spektrum line of motors and esc's are actually quite good. I have four of the smart esc's and love them. They do not offer a sensored version to the best of my knowledge. I do like sensored...
All I see are "discontinued" when I search for the springs I have part #'s for. Losi does not allow their dealers to sell new parts on eBay so at best all you will find are individuals selling off...
I have Losi springs and manuals at home. I'll see if I can find some valid part #'s.

Another benefit of the 5mm pinions is they use a 2mm head set screw instead of 1.5mm.

The Losi 22SCT springs fit, they might be discontinued but will show up from time to time on ebay. Hot Racing also makes springs for the 22SCT.

I agree, you want a bit of droop. Too stiff/too long of a spring will top out the shock and your truck will not be able to turn without rolling over. The same applies to running shock oil too thick....
