I say give it a shot...just look around at RC trailers you see for sale or online to give yourself some ideas..several different aspects of each trailer can be designed into yours...for some reason...
Yes, it was also a Snap-on edition Stampede but I had original body and Red wheels on shelf in storage..

Hand-made Spartan boat trailer back in 2012..I think that was one of my first posts on this forum..It is long gone now..the wheel covers were made from thin gauge aluminum diamond plate..

Here is how simplistic the design was..these are the 2 'L' brackets I mentioned earlier in the thread contoured from heavy gauge sheet metal..
4 screws to remove them and the Slash can go right back...
Few more details and decals and the finish line will be here..
Found an 8" shorty antenna and made a custom bracket for that..
Got front bumper installed.
Found button head covers for the screw...

Well, I got home from work and a rear bumper from another RC was in the mail..just spent the last 1.5 hr cutting, molding and melting plastic to shape, shorten and make the bumper a wrap around for...

Sacrificed a drill bit to get brush guard lights in..spun it on a piece of porcelain tile to dull it up some so it wouldn't make a mess of the plastic guard..
