Thread title revised to avoid confusion.
Stainless steel hardware is not as strong as grade 2 alloy hardware - also known as shear bolts. Worse, when the stainless bends, it will become lodged in the aluminum part, causing significant...
Pure speculation or wishful thinking. If someone says they know... they don’t.
I typically would run 8000mAh-class batteries so I’m not sure the runtime that a pair of 5200mAh should give. If you’d like to know what you your packs are doing in real time, get a programmable low...
Bendy stainless hardware in an aluminum bellcrank - or any structural part - is a recipe for failure.
You would be much better off purchasing a good set of hardened alloy fasteners.
I installed the X after installing and running the Dewalt for years. It is a great way to go if you can afford it.
I would say it’s pretty rare. No process is perfect so it is certainly possible.
I watched the video multiple times. Without knowing the throttle position, it is difficult to tell whether that is “glitching” or the normal stuttering of a sensorless motor system. They are not...

I’m pretty sure I don’t need to do that to decide whether the information is reasonable.
So you are saying that the 8S axles weigh five times as much as the 6S axles?
I’d think the copyright is for the “Traxxas” logo, not for the part number.
It is probably fiberglass reinforced nylon / glass filled nylon (same thing).
I think I do, and believe it’s a compliment as well as a show of appreciation for posting the correct information. Take the W.
It will be a sad day when Traxxas or any other individual is not permitted to defend their own property in the US.
Discussion is great. What you are doing here is not discussion.
The Vanguard 3150kv is much better suited to a smaller 1:10 vehicle like the Stampede 4x4.
I consider a 40mm diameter can motor to be the best choice for a Summit, with a sensored brushless option...
Anything larger than a 1515 brushless motor can gut the Summit, as can the 1515 if you’re not practiced with driving it.
What are you trying to accomplish with the Summit?
My wild guesses:
Discontinued.
Never.
No.
Me either.
If you'd like to discuss non-Traxxas models and their pricing, there are many places to do so. This is not one of them. -ksb51rl
I'm glad you found the problem and I hope Traxxas will take care of the issue.

Sarcastic whining about said action will get you nowhere.
Notwithstanding the expert opinion above, the heading above is clearly labeled “Private Messages” and hence the “PM” abbreviation.
Regarding the misguided, hateful, ignorant posts - either the...

3.5 Volts per cell is a better cutoff level. It’ll make your batteries happier and there is very little runtime and less funtime from 3.5 Volts per cell down to 3.2 Volts per cell.
I believe an E-Maxx ESC would be 14.4V (nominal) not 14.2V.
Is the ESC orange (EVX) or blue (EVX-2)?
