Can the brushed car run a 3s lipo or does it need to be the vxl to run 3s? I wanna get the brushed for now and upgrade later but I only have 3s batteries and I'm trying to avoid buying 2s if I can....

Got less than 3 hours on my trx4 defender, ran thru some muddy water today, up to about the windows, so everything was submerged. It died in the water, so I turned it off, cleaned it and reconnected...

Any idea what this might be? The gears look ok, teeth wise. Motor maybe?
