The Integy's you posted fit ultra shocks fine. I'm running a set now.
For old time's sake

My guess is an R/C Hot Air Balloon.
Not really... As Toddius Maxximus was saying, if the track is widened the wheels won't even fit inside the wheel wells. He could always trim the fenders way way back, or just run without a body.
Been a while... :o
My question for everyone, not just my fellow photographers, is do I go ultra-wide, standard zoom, or super zoom with my next lens?
I am in the financial position to purchase...
No, it would actually fit the scale better (1/8 scale that is) with the protrac kit. The strc chassic extender will already take it past 1/10 scale.
I bet FLM extended rustler arms would fit to widen the stance. Not sure
Hope it turns out STRONG. Carbon fiber would be pretty brittle to create something like a body, which is usually made out of Lexan. Part of the reason why rc bodies are so strong is because the flex....
A buggy body (plenty of options), HPI Hellfire wing mount, 1/8 buggy/truggy wing, 17mm wheel adapters and 17mm 1/8 wheels. Custom but easy to make body mounts are important too.
If you tape over slicks, I think it would look pretty good. Tape wouldn't really be noticable.
Traxxas nitro 4-tec rear carriers work with a shim on the axle. 1.5º per side I believe. There's a plastic and aluminum variant. Also, you'll need longer camber links (or maybe a longer rod end) to...
#1 looks like a Losi xxx or the like, #2 is a rustler 100%
Good luck with your builds :)
suprasales sells 17mm preglued slicks. Perhaps budget quality rubber = relative drift tire?
Other options are pvc/abs pipe mounted as a tire, or (depending on what you run on) electrical tape...
You have to drill holes.
Can we sticky this topic?
Yeah, you're going to end up with one funny looking truck if you try a stampede body. It's just way too short.
If you really want the monster truck look, pretty much any body made for the Maxx's or...
Nice action shots! Wouldn't happen to have the GoPro footage, would you ;) On a side note, I'm not a fan of big watermarks, but that wasn't your doing :o
Proline Protrac arms work, as well as rear rustler arms on the front. If you're looking for a project (=lots of work...) You can use jato arms for a super wide truck.
If you have a bandit rear shock tower (the one with the holes drilled on top) then it fits right on.
Two holes in the top of the tower? Bandit shock tower?
Then do this :)

Video link? what was the cage made for?
Sounds good man, can't wait to see it.
I wish I had my camera recording at 60fps................ and then I realize I can't afford the repair LOL
Like I said, someone has tried that body. We weren't sure ( :p ) but we thought it was the RC8B version. IIRC it nearly snapped on. Any tighter, I think you'll have fitment issues. If you want it to...
That looks great. Interesting how it all fits up so nicely. Cool mod!
I'm pretty sure that the RC8B version will fit. Someone on here used it a while back. I love the look of that body, would be great if it works out.
