Ok, thanks guys!
I will look at every one of these and determine which I want to get
I have the exact same car, and I can tell you It's extremely durable and fast. The components are very sturdy, except for the front suspension arm, I have broken quite a couple (I think 5) of those...
That would be very nice and helpful, but adding something so small, considering the size of the chassis, would easily break on high-speed impacts. The servos or gyros would have to be replaced, and...
If you want really fast speeds, go with 8s. Higher the cells, the higher the power or speed (based on my experience). If you're just ripping your Revo up and down the street as I do with my Slash,...
I'm using a Hot Racing XMX16C02, it's pretty effective at keeping dirt from getting into the insides. There are no shock covers though, so dirt still gets in to that.
For some reason, I burnt out the stock slash servo. I had nothing, so I mounted the TRX4 servo from one of my older builds. That one was too slow and eventually burnt out too.
I'm looking for a...
Nice video! its nice to see how far the RC hobby has evolved, cars went from being cheap plastic things with a weak motor to giant 20lb monsters that are faster than a car.
oh, ok. I wanted to see how slow my TRX4 can go at max throttle. Kinda getting bored here....
I've seen a video by Rc playground https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIQqi_9EQbmQhMQ8YVG3GKw
where he made a magnetic mount for the body, and connected the lights to magnet on the body. This made...
For the monster truck, the chances of a solid axel monster truck are pretty low. If it were to be introduced, I feel like not many people would buy it. I could and probably am wrong, but that's what...
Proline Street Fighter wheels are pretty nice, but I would get something with a bit more tread, such as the Proline Badlands, just in case you someday want to go offroad or dirt racing. If you're...
Nice! I've got a slash myself, and It seems that I have found the perfect guide!
Just asking, is it possible to run a One-Cell battery on a TRX-4 using a different brand battery and connector?
As far as I know, there isn't a one cell Traxxas battery.
Oh, Ok thanks
Heres a tip I found helpful:
Wiping down the print with acetone will help smooth it out and make it more visually pleasing.
(I wouldn't recommend this for something that is meant to take a lot of...
On the mini-bio under the profile picture of the poster, there is a short statement that says Rc Competitor, or Rc Enthusiast, and others like Rc Turnbuckle Jr. I'm pretty sure there are a lot more...
I guess I'll just mount them as nondirectional wheels then.
I've had a bushed motor on one of my old Slashes last me 2-3 months. I think it depends on what conditions we are running in. I was less experienced back then and did not do proper maintenance. That...
you could just put a piece of rubber or something at the end of the trigger that limits the trigger to a portion of the full throttle. The good thing is you can adjust how thick the rubber is and its...
Welcome to the forums!
And good luck with your Xmaxx build!
Yes, unfortunately, brushed motors have short lives, and they run out quite quickly. They'll last slightly longer if you don't run on dirt (to avoid the dirt building up inside the motor). A brushed...
Paddle tires would be the best choice for snow, but it won't work on any other terrain other than snow, sand, and mud They get an areally nice grip into the snow, but almost none at all on hard dirt...
Yeah, I've been running it 6s no issues so far. I've mildly abused it, going full throttle down the street many times, but no full throttle jumps.......yet. I'm thinking of getting 8s batteries...
I am not sure wether proline Hyraxs are directional, most of the tire appears to be, except for the tiny grooves at the very bottom of the tire.https://www.prolineracing.com/images/10132_2_l.jpg
...
I've decided to run un-vented. The last thing I want is water, dirt, and sand in my tires and foams. I've looked at other forums and people also use un-vented tires. Its also a pretty rainy here in...
